Camping Trelago

A very lovely campsite with a wonderful old tree population. The sanitary facilities are in APPALLING condition and at least as old as they are terrible, or have been improvisedly repaired, with old drainage holes simply sprayed over, broken tiles, etc., 8 (!) warm, free showers that use a strange unreliable push-button system (about 3 min). The rest of the showers are cold. One sanitary block (toilet) could easily deserve a score of 3-4, but was completely overloaded for that reason. Super friendly staff, super close to the beach. Good power supply with new posts. It looks as if it had been closed for 10 years, then reopened a year ago by a group of lucky adventurers, and now everything is being improvised. Sorry - I am an experienced camper, I haven't encountered something like this for a long time.

We really liked this campsite because of its location and the park where the pitches are located. The many birds provide a real concert... There is an appreciable calm with a view of the nearby lake... One downside, there are many showers as well as many sinks for personal care and dishwashing, unfortunately all with cold water!!! You will find hot water only in a few showers at designated times. It's such a shame for a place so idyllic! However, the bar and the pizzeria are the saving grace, as the waiters are very attentive and the pizzas are very good!

Well-shaded pitch with 6 Amp electricity, quiet area, very close to the lake, very kind staff, bathrooms and showers a bit old-fashioned but hot water for free, all in all a good campsite, I would happily return.
