Camping Toscolano

Very beautiful location directly by the lake, while the paths to the pitches are very narrow. Many trees have grown into the paths. With a large motorhome or caravan, it is difficult. The worst part, however, is the sanitation facilities. We were near the lake and appalled by the lakeside washroom. Apart from the one-time cleaning in the morning around 8:30, no one came back. The standing toilets are a disaster. Totally cramped, damaged ceramic, no storage or grab bars or soap/disinfectant. Nothing has been invested in or renovated in recent years. The same applies to the showers. It is a pity that the operator does nothing. Fortunately, we found a very small washroom with 2 normal toilets at the other end of the site and brought bikes to get there. It was fine there since it was also clean. However, it is also in an area where there are mainly mobile homes.

We give a star for the location... otherwise there was nothing positive for us. The renovated sanitary facilities advertised on the internet were old, dirty, and there were standing toilets without grab bars....and cleanliness is different. The swimming pool was too small for so many guests, and the lamps occasionally hung into the water.. .we are disappointed and left early... far too expensive for the condition.

The conveniently located and well-laid-out site largely meets international standards. However, the standing toilets and only 2 toilets without seat covers are negatively rated. The stylish pool seems to serve only a photo or alibi function! Use is only allowed from 2 PM to 6 PM when the poolside sheriff is present. A pointless swimming cap requirement applies even to gentlemen with bald heads!! Loungers cannot be rearranged... but the distance is not compliant with coronavirus regulations! WiFi is very limited - nothing comes through to the pitches. Rat poison boxes (danger to dogs) should preferably be placed in inconspicuous spots. Overall, there is definitely room for improvement.

The campsite has a dreamily beautiful entrance, great access to the lake with a superb view, and that's already all there is! The sanitary facilities are outdated and partly consist of standing toilets without toilet paper and no soap!! Showers with no place to put your things, and the washbasin at the standing toilets only has cold water! Anyone who thinks they can use their usual electrical devices here will be disappointed! The circuit breaker of the power distribution jumps off immediately as soon as one, for example, turns on a conventional kettle or hairdryer! The path to the pitches is bumpy as it is heavily rooted and also very narrow and poorly passable! A modern motorhome like ours has a hard time here! Trees and bushes in the way! Next time we will read the reviews more carefully! The price is justified as it is cheap!

Both the studios and the plots are very nice, the grounds are clean and quiet, the restaurant is good, and the staff is very friendly. Everything you need is nearby, you can even walk to the supermarket. The sanitary facilities are not state-of-the-art, but they are always clean and technically sound! We have been here several times and will gladly come back!

It is a beautiful campsite. The mobile homes are very clean and the staff at the restaurant is super nice and friendly. We had a great time here and would love to come back.

The accommodations - mobile homes were in poor condition. Many damaged mobile homes, ant invasions in and around the homes. Reported defects were not repaired immediately (toilet), the pool was not open, nor was the supermarket. A maximum of 5 out of 10 points! Not recommended.
