August 2025
We stayed at the end of August 2025 for two nights with a motorhome at this campsite. We only chose the site to take public transport to Milan from here, as the campsite in Milan had poor reviews and we had read about increasing motorhome break-ins in Milan. The bus quickly takes you to Pavia train station, from there you can reach Milan by train in half an hour. Otherwise, the campsite offers a small pool, a playground, and a lounge area at the reception. Unfortunately, there is no shop and no possibility to order bread, and during our stay the bakery 200 meters away was closed. The site is not large and is quite close to a road that you can occasionally hear. The sanitary facilities are simple but mostly clean.

After several attempts to contact the operator (by phone, Whatsapp, email) the text arrived: You are welcome… etc. (we received this two times). Whereupon we drove our self-built camper to the site. We also had a trailer with a small car with us. In your response text (email and Whatsapp) it stated that even if they were fully booked, they had a parking option for one night. Upon arrival, a nice lady welcomed us and informed us that she was not responsible for this size, your colleague will be here shortly. He came. Saw our camper and was extremely unfriendly. What on earth were we thinking coming here with such a large vehicle. It is a truck (registered as a motorhome as the structure is like a Tinyhouse) and that they cannot accept such vehicles at this time. Very unfriendly, also no overnight possibility.

Good place for a stopover. We were warmly welcomed, had free choice of spot. Everything clean and well-kept. Few restaurants nearby.

We arrived here in the afternoon on our way south and spent a night here. We were warmly welcomed and the proximity to the city impressed us.

The site is equipped with somewhat modest sanitary facilities, but they are very clean. The willingness to help is phenomenal, which I greatly appreciated as a solo traveling camper. Well located to visit the interesting city of Pavia.

We landed here on our way south. Spontaneously, we added an additional night to relax a bit by the pool and to stock up on supplies. The nearby town of Pavia was worth a visit. There are many restaurants and shopping options. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but they were always clean during our stay. In summary, a great campsite without much fuss. Therefore, a good 3 stars!
