Location: small place near the canal and the sea (just across the dike), suitable for water sports of all kinds including fishing (beware of mosquitoes!), horse riding is also possible nearby, for everything else you have to drive further Guests: Dutch and Germans, families with children or dogs Site: clean, the nice long-term campers in their mobile homes have taken good care of their spots, however, the tent and caravan areas could be mowed a bit better, access paths are somewhat narrow but manageable Reception: nice people, uncomplicated booking by phone in German possible, roll delivery available (better to choose bread that needs to be baked) Sanitary facilities: Unfortunately, they fall short. They are only cleaned once a day and due to the full occupancy of the site, they quickly become dirty again. Showers 0.50€ for at least 6 minutes okay, but the water temperature cannot be adjusted, warm water for dishwashing costs 0.20€ Corona: the Dutch are only interested in social distancing while waiting in line and at the sinks, otherwise only the sheep in the fields keep their distance Conclusion: all in all definitely recommendable for a short stay (3 nights/2 adults), even if you have children who can entertain themselves (1 small but new playground), 2 stars off for the toilets - sorry!

A beautiful little campsite right by the IJsselmeer (approximately 1 minute on foot). Shopping opportunities are about 20 minutes away by car (Aldi and others). However, mosquitoes must be expected as Molkwerum is traversed by canals.

Well, what can you say about this campsite? It is quiet at night, which I think is what one looks for on vacation. During the day, however, one has to say that there can be disturbances when on-site, as we experienced from motorcyclists during Easter who used the adjacent road, but that did not detract from our vacation. Showers/WC very clean and well-maintained, all other leisure activities and rental options are simply top-notch because you also get full support from the staff and the owner in achieving your goals.

We have been going to this campsite for years and are more than satisfied. They offer a lot of activities for children, and the adults do not miss out either. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and are thoroughly cleaned daily. Whether with a camper, caravan, or tent, they provide every camper with a great spot with everything you need. The beach can be reached on foot in 2 minutes, which means the site has its own beach right by the sea. There is a restaurant, a snack bar, pizza service, roll ordering, just everything a camper needs. Discount stores are all easily accessible, from Aldi to Lidl, you can find everything not too far away, all within 5-10 km. We can only recommend this campsite for young and old.
