For those who like to lace up their running shoes, there are many beautiful jogging routes right outside the campsite. There is plenty to discover in the centre of Meerssen, less than 3 km from the campsite: culture vultures can visit the Basilica of the Holy Sacrament, which is considered a showpiece of Meuse Gothic architecture. The Propsteipark with its romantic pond is perfect for a stroll. The Valkenburg Caves are also not far away: visitors can comfortably explore the mystical underground labyrinth by train. Holidaymakers can recharge their batteries for all their activities in the Brasserie Bie de Groeve. Regional dishes, cakes and other delicacies are served here. Those with a sweet tooth will want to pay a daily visit to the Bie de Groeve ice cream parlour. The milk for the sweet temptation comes from local farmers.
