This campsite does not deserve 5 stars. Although the location is great, the facilities need to be completely renovated or, in fact, available. They advertise this, but it's not open. Watch out when booking and paying. We had a plot and when it was time to pay, an additional 5 EUR per day was suddenly charged for the motorcycle trailer, which was never mentioned before. It's odd business behavior that rather reminds one of the old Yugoslavian times.

Beware of Scam. A fee of 25€ must be paid at the time of booking. However, the 25€ does not appear on the invoice. Not even upon request. In the email correspondence, the 25€ was not mentioned. Scam and tax evasion. We will never return!

The proximity to the beach and the restaurant are really very good. However, what bothered us a lot was that the sanitary area upstairs has no side walls. We were here at the end of September and it was incredibly cold while showering. Warm water doesn't help either, that's obviously standard! When it was windy, all the dirt flew in, so much that the poor cleaning staff can't possibly keep it clean. This does not correspond to a superplace for me. Whether there is a bread roll service, no idea, we haven't heard of it nor was this info anywhere.

Beautiful plots and nicely laid out place. The pool is quite small, but actually quite stylish. If it weren't for the most petty caretaker in the world sitting there. This guy was busy non-stop prohibiting something for someone. The kids are not allowed to eat crackers on the sunbed, the two-year-old is not allowed to walk to the sunbed with his shoes, let alone walk in, no toys in the pool, etc.. Everything was really prohibited, and immediate action was taken for even the smallest things. We have never experienced such strictness in many different countries, and it ultimately led us to leave earlier. The sanitary facilities were 50/50. Sometimes you were lucky, sometimes not. I only took cold showers (but it was warm enough anyway). A recommendation is the Bistro Torcida in front of the campsite. It looks like a wooden shack, but it has great fish!

Very nice pitches, very well maintained site. Sanitary facilities a bit older but very clean. Ideal place for dogs, separate and fenced area for dogs. Restaurant and bar on site, small pool available. Supermarket not so great, as it is very small, messy, and has little offer. However, there are good other shopping opportunities nearby. Very friendly staff and very uncomplicated reception. Even in high season, no problem getting a nice pitch. Very busy road in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, but it did not bother. Pebble beach, the sea has a sandy bottom, very shallow to go in and along, thus very suitable for smaller children.

As returning campers after 40 years, we were overwhelmed by the quality and warmth at Camping Stobreč Split. Particularly noteworthy: • Smooth reservation with personalized advice (Thanks to Sanja and Ines!) • Personal service at the reception (Magdalena even helped us with the water connection!) • Spacious, well-kept pitches in park-like surroundings • Modern, clean sanitary facilities, incl. outdoor showers/toilets • Beautiful beach with showers, umbrellas, changing rooms • Free animation and fitness offers • Dog friendly: dog beach, showers, washing station • Good restaurant, very well-stocked supermarket Everything is very well organized, the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Conclusion: A campsite that makes you want to come back for longer stays.

Nice place in front of the gates of Split. Well-kept, but unfortunately somewhat older sanitary facilities. Bicycle paths to Split are practically non-existent. The pitches are spacious and very well maintained. Sanitary facilities are always clean. According to Pincamp, it's a super place, I cannot confirm that. At most 3 stars. I don't know when the ADAC last inspected the site. Traffic noise mentioned in advance is present, but unavoidable. Main road in close proximity. Beach area with sand and gravel. Beach barely crowded, very pleasant setting. Shady spots available. Swimming pool with bar is very suitable for families with small children.

Off-season: Pitch spots in the first row are being completely refurbished, thus not usable (not bad, because it is very windy). There is a lot of trash on the beach and everywhere around, and it looks very neglected. The staff member is very nice and provides a lot of information for visiting Split. Shopping opportunity directly at the site, restaurant also available with a small menu (not tried). Café and restaurant street reachable in 5 minutes. As a starting point for visiting Split absolutely okay. Showers and WCs are clean but very outdated (main building, others closed). Electricity, water, and sewage available at the pitches. Many cats on the premises, which keep their distance. No problem with dogs. In the off-season quite affordable with ADAC card. Wi-Fi very unstable. Main road audible, especially the racing idiots (motorcycle posers).
