Campingplatz Sonnenkap

A new site with great sanitary facilities, very friendly staff, a small bistro on site, and a very good restaurant opposite the campsite entrance, right by the lake. It is very quiet at night, and there is an excellent path for walking or cycling along the lake into the city, which also passes by a public enclosed dog park. Everything is really well-maintained and definitely worth a short stay.

A modern campsite by the lake with partially very large pitches. There's a shop and bistro on site. The staff is super friendly, and the sanitary facilities are very clean. As the campsite is still relatively new, the vegetation is still quite sparse. The WiFi coverage is rather poor.

Very beautifully laid out campsite overlooking the wonderful, crystal-clear Uckersee. The elliptical-shaped roads go slightly up and down and invite children to skate/inline skate/bike. The playground and the sports equipment also provide children with variety. There is also a nice promenade nearby with a large playground and options for dining or going for ice cream. The sanitary facilities are very clean and everything is new. The staff is super nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. The only thing that didn’t quite please us was the currywurst in the bistro. A proper currywurst (instead of normal bratwurst) and a spicy curry sauce (instead of normal ketchup) would be desirable. But everything else there is top-notch. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the campsite!

New, beautiful campsite by the lake, currently not too crowded in the pre-season. 2 large sanitary buildings, modern and fully equipped, shower cubicle is sufficiently large, very clean (it would stay this way if everyone left the quiet little spot like they would at home). Sometimes you really have to wonder if it looks like this at home and what the guests would say... The toilet brush, as we know, doesn't bite, and even if it should be a little thinner or a bit firmer than firm, it helps a lot to use it!!! There are also enough mirrors. Staff is MEGA friendly and helpful. Volleyball court, table tennis, small soccer field, and playground for the little ones. Campsites are sufficiently large, no direct boundaries visible, but you can talk to each other. Dogs are also allowed, LEASH MANDATORY!!!

Have been here multiple times now. Simply great. Very friendly staff. Super sanitary facilities. The short path to direct lake access, the bistro, and the nearby restaurant, simply top 👌

Beautiful quiet place despite high season. The site is well designed and still growing. Direct access to the lake, very friendly staff. Dogs welcome 😉. Overall very satisfied.

Nice staff, clean and new sanitation, beautifully laid out, although the planting is still young. Prenzlau itself and the waterfront promenade are also worth recommending.
