Dream beaches on the Mediterranean, a sophisticated ambience and first-class facilities make Camping Sitges a popular holiday destination along the Catalan coast. The 2.8-hectare site has a huge outdoor pool with a paddling pool for the youngest guests. The beaches are just 600 metres away and can therefore be easily reached on foot. The campsite also has its own grocery shop and the on-site restaurant serves culinary delights from the region. Another highlight is the bike hire service, which allows holidaymakers to go on spontaneous excursions in the surrounding area. Tours to Sitges are particularly recommended, and even the metropolis of Barcelona is only 40 kilometres away.
Located by a cycling route network.

Staff very unfriendly, chaotically organized. When reserving, you provide the dimensions of the camper. However, the parking space was still too small, and branches were hanging too low. We received a different parking space. The maps with the parking spaces at the reception and the maps that are set up at the site itself do not match. According to the map at the site, we were on a parking space that was also offered to us by an employee, according to the map of the reception on two spaces. This was said to us quite rudely after a few days. All indications of what happened, the difference in the maps, everything doesn't matter, we had to park differently. The site was 30% occupied.

We got a pitch at the entrance of the campsite, which was located in the middle of the group of permanent campers. The road as well as the train were within immediate hearing distance. Particularly annoying was the barking of the chained dogs in the immediate neighborhood. The sanitary facilities were very clean. To get to the beach, you have to walk through a residential area and cross several streets.

We wanted to stay for 4 nights because we were sightseeing in Barcelona. Our parking spot was small and very noisy at night due to the street. Our proof of the ADAC Camping Key Europe was not taken into account, although we had chosen the campsite for that reason. However, since we applied for the card only a few days before our departure from Germany, we did not yet have the plastic card in hand. According to ADAC, however, a printout of the certificate would also be valid. The campsite refused to accept it, so we did not receive the discount. We also had to pay upon check-in. Since the nights were too loud for us due to the traffic, we decided to leave after 3 overnight stays. Even then, the lady at the reception refused to refund us for the one night's stay (we were at the reception at 10:30 AM). It was only when my husband became very upset that she made a phone call and then refunded us the difference. However, we still did not receive the KeyEurope discount! We would no longer choose this site and therefore cannot recommend it...

This campsite is a great starting point for visiting Barcelona. A bus leaves every half hour from the square to the center of Barcelona (4.5€/person, 45 min). The reception is very flexible and competent. We made a last-minute booking and got a spot for our motorhome. The supermarket has everything you need. The sanitary facilities were top-notch. All in all, a place that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We will come back.
