Camping Serenella

-Sanitary facilities old, urinal out of order, showers all cold -Parking space just dirt and gravel, when it rains everything is dirty. Small spots. Access to the parking space is narrow and cramped. Whole area very loveless. Roads are not cleaned after rain, all the dirt and gravel that was washed onto the road.

First of all, I must say that the ADAC Camping Card is only valid from the 3rd row, this is not written anywhere and is only told at the reception upon payment. The campsite itself is fine, just the pitches are quite small and during rain our spot was very muddy since all the water from the street flowed across our spot (a tarp to place underneath is advisable). The sanitary facilities (where we were, there are a few) were always clean, but it requires a small basic renovation. The restaurant at the campsite is very tasty and reasonably priced. There are 2 heated pools in the upper area, the children's pool with slides in the lower area is not heated and the slide was not turned on during our stay (we were there in September, perhaps due to the low season). Bardolino and Garda are easily reachable on foot.

Spaces small, closely packed, no privacy hedges. Sanitary facilities old and in need of renovation, but somewhat clean. Prices in supermarkets and restaurants still okay, no rip-off like elsewhere. Free wifi, but it doesn't work or only sporadically. This is particularly frustrating, as mobile reception on the site is very poor. Conclusion: no internet! The site operator should invest in the infrastructure!

Upon arrival, the booked spot was too muddy due to rain, but I could easily choose an alternative spot. Serenella is not too big, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is very good. Sanitary facilities are clean at all times. The site is wonderfully located between Garda and Bardolino, one can take beautiful bike tours, some with ferry connections, others via bike paths. I would vacation there again.

The site is located exactly between Garda and Bardolino. Small pitches but clean, toilet and shower always very clean, but old. Restaurant and supermarket are good, and the price-performance ratio is still right there. The site has 3 stars. We always had warm water, and the washing facilities are perfectly fine for a 3-star site.

The site is great in terms of location. Right between Bardolino and Garda. The staff at the reception is very friendly. The food in the restaurant tastes good. The spaces are a bit small. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation but clean.

We had a reservation for a large luxury pitch for the Pentecost holidays. The site number we were informed of in advance was assigned to us upon arrival, which we were very happy about, as there are also significantly (!) smaller pitches at Serenella. Our pitch was not extravagant but at least sufficient for us to set up our awning. We knew before our arrival that the pitches were not large, but since we managed to fit everything in, we were satisfied! Our pitch also had the perfect location. The campsite is quite small overall, so the paths are short and everything is quickly accessible (swimming pool, restaurant, sanitary facilities, supermarket). We chose to spend our vacation at Serenella because the campsite is dog-free, has a heated pool, and is in a great location right by the lake between Bardolino and Garda. The pool was indeed relatively pleasantly heated (the great children’s pool was unfortunately very cold - presumably it cannot be heated). The restaurant on site is also good. The offer in the morning when picking up rolls could be improved, as croissants and rolls are unfortunately sold out early. The play equipment near the restaurant urgently needs to be removed, as it is completely broken. The playground is not great for family camping! We always went to the playground in Bardolino instead. By the way, I always had warm water when showering, although it wasn't always warm when rinsing dishes, but that’s not so important to me. Unfortunately, most of the campsite guests do not take cleanliness in the sanitary facilities very seriously. The price/performance ratio was really okay for us! One must not forget that Serenella is a 3* campsite after all. If we ever have a vacation at Lake Garda again, we will either book Serenella again or Camping Cisano (which belongs to the same group).

We were there over Pentecost. Already the second year! And this time we thought about the camp card from ADAC! In short: the vacation was great, a bit too much rain and softened ground. But: depending on the pitch, it gets quite tight! And one or two olive trees are in the way. The entrance and exit are painfully narrow! I would advise against the camp card! As others have described before me, although the pitch is advertised with it, they always find an excuse! For me, the validity of the camp card is limited to the pitches that are furthest away from the lake. (Cheap pitches) Nevertheless, a super nice pitch that we have already reserved again.
