Camping Selholmens

Camping Selholmens is a small, cosy campsite on the outskirts of Älvsbyn, right by the Piteälven river. With only 26 pitches for holidaymakers and 9 rentals, it is wonderfully manageable. You will camp in an idyllic, rural setting and yet you are not far from the town.

You can expect a charming, slightly sloping meadow terrain as well as two flat, terraced areas. The parcellated pitches are between 80 and 100 m² in size and offer a 10-amp electricity connection. Perfect for pitching your tent or parking your motorhome.

You can relax in the campsite's own sauna directly on-site. If you want to go swimming, an outdoor pool is just 300 metres away, and an indoor pool can be reached after 1.5 kilometres. The Piteälven river also flows right past the site, providing a great backdrop.

Since prices can vary depending on the season, you should plan for the following cost factors for your stay:

• Electricity (10-amp connections available)
• Use of the sauna and the recreation room

Since a partly sloping meadow terrain awaits you, you should definitely pack levelling ramps to perfectly align your motorhome or your car with caravan. For the two flat, terraced areas and the soft meadow ground, normal pegs for your tent are completely sufficient.

On the campsite itself, there is a practical, covered cooking facility if you want to cook for yourself. For everything else, you don't have to walk far: a grocery store, a cosy restaurant, and a snack bar are only about 500 metres away in the nearby town centre of Älvsbyn.

Yes, if you travel without your own camping equipment, you can book one of the 9 rentals. Please note, however, that these cosy cabins are equipped without private sanitary facilities. You can easily use the campsite's shared sanitary buildings.
