Actually, there was nothing good. Very expensive, but the sanitary facilities are subpar, not to mention a disgrace.

Lovely spacious campsite, without designated plots. Price per night for a motorhome is €35.50 in season.

We chose this campsite quite spontaneously due to its proximity to Monopoli. It is right by the sea and less than 10 minutes by bike from the center of Monopoli. It has a slight slope, but unfortunately only in the upper part are there shade-giving trees. There is a high, old wire fence to the sea, with only a few trees that provide hardly any shade. There is an exit to a nice little public beach, which was already crowded even in the off-season. A mini-market with the essentials is available. The sanitary facilities are old and are only moderately cleaned. There is only one shower stall at the top, where you can get warm water with a card for a fee. The rest is cold. The water by the sea is exclusively cold. During the day, it is wonderfully quiet at the campsite. There are no through roads or train tracks nearby. Unfortunately (and that was our biggest problem), this peace is disturbed at night by an open-air disco, which belongs to a hotel about 1000 meters away. The campsite can't be blamed for this, but depending on the wind, you can sing along to the songs every day from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM. I find it completely incomprehensible that such a thing can be permitted. Therefore, after 3 nights, we were tired and chose to leave early.
