We returned last week from this campsite. We were there with 2 dogs, there should be 2 dog toilets, but the one I found was used as a compost pile. There were many dog droppings on the side (you can also clean that up as a dog owner). The lights at the back of the pitches did not work. The neighboring campsite/beach area had a disco until 5 in the morning… Security apparently didn’t care that youth were screaming almost every night (around 1 a.m.), yes, it was reported. Upon our arrival, we first placed a concrete slab over an exposed cable because that was dangerous. 5 stars because there is a swimming pool and entertainment… An advantage was that we had our own toilet with a shower. The disadvantage was the hard floors where it was difficult to get the pegs for the awning in.

The staff was friendly and the pitches are generous. For us, the most important thing at a campsite is the cleanliness and facilities of the sanitary facilities. The toilets are unisex, but that is not a problem for us, and since the site was hardly occupied, the number of showers and toilets was sufficient. Unfortunately, there is nowhere in the sanitary facilities to hang clothes or towels, neither in the showers nor in the toilets. So everything had to be hung over the partitions, as there was also no storage available. This is far from any standard. Unfortunately, only 2 out of 5 showers had warm water, but only if you held the button down for a very long time. Showering with one hand on the button is also not a pleasure! When I complained, I was told I had to wait about 5 minutes, meaning you have to hold the button down continuously for 5 minutes while at least keeping your arm under cold water. This is definitely not a 5-star campsite; we would give it 3 stars. Additionally, we were also annoyed that we had to pay the full price in advance, i.e., upon arrival. Next time, we will choose another place.

The campsite is generally okay. It was certainly worth 5 stars at one time, but some money needs to be invested for renovations. Animation and shows are okay. Unfortunately, it is quite loud. Access with a caravan is unfortunately not good, as there are no check-in parking spaces.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. You really have to be very nitpicky to rate the place negatively. We had a lovely holiday. The pitch is large enough. Nice and shady thanks to the trees. The private sanitary facilities are small but completely adequate and clean. Everything went wonderfully for us. The animation team is very friendly and makes an effort. Sometimes a bit loud, yes, but it didn't bother us. It was quiet at 11 PM. The pool is very nice and well-maintained. There are enough sunbeds available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.

We were here at this site in August 23 and it was very disappointing. The sanitary facilities were completely overloaded. The showers were constantly clogged, as was the chemical toilet. The men's and women's washing areas were not separated and rinsed with cold water. We do not know any 5-star campsites like this. Our pitch was large, but there were also few freshwater points. It's a shame, because the location is good and you can easily reach the beach by bike.

We were at a site with private sanitation facilities for 2 weeks in summer. Positive: - very well suited as a starting point for excursions - supermarket within walking distance - spacious plots (according to the description) - mostly friendly staff Negative: - Private sanitation facilities are in a run-down state and more poorly than well maintained/cared for. - Hot water: Each private sanitation facility has its own gas burner for hot water production. Ours worked 95% of the time and often failed during showers. On the 2nd complaint, the technician explained how to reset the burner. Thus, it was at least possible, with a lot of patience and sufficient technical skill, to have hot water for a few moments. I had to get used to cold showers during this vacation (which could also be seen as a positive). - WLAN: 30 minutes free for testing, then €25 for 15 days (but only one user at a time). During the 30 minutes, everything worked great, but afterwards the WLAN was simply unusable. Often, the device even indicated that "there is no internet connection available behind the router." 3 x €25 wasted. - Entertainment: Very loud music from recordings (some with unbearable bass) and a lackluster karaoke from the animator. This had some breaks between 9 AM and 11:30 PM. If you like this kind of thing, it could definitely be viewed positively. - Evening entertainment: Hard to endure without alcohol and rarely exceeds the belt line. - Leaf blowers in use from 8 AM (could also be considered a positive point regarding cleanliness). - Electricity supply: This is incorrectly designed, in terms of undersizing. The voltage occasionally dropped to 185 volts, before nothing was left at the outlet. We had several power outages, the longest lasted 2 hours. At least the management apologized in writing and also managed to provide a 400kW emergency generator, installed right next to the charging stations for electric cars. - Pool usage: This is only allowed for men with tight swimwear, apparently for hygiene reasons. The bathing water during our one-time visit did not visually give the impression that one should not worry about water quality. We will not visit this site again and are used to something quite different from 5-star sites.

We have been to this place several times, always at the same time. The pitch was sufficient for us and we think it's great that there is a private sanitary facility included for a small extra charge. I find it sufficient and it was always clean, and everything worked perfectly for us. The pool is heated, which we also think is great. The supermarket on-site is overpriced, except for the baked goods. Better to go to the supermarket outside (to the left and then it is right on the right side). The restaurant on-site is okay, with little selection; the truffle noodles were very delicious. Last year there was no animation, this year every day and evening until 11:30 PM. It didn’t bother us much, the children also slept through it. We didn’t notice any construction noise, but there was often loud dog barking at night. Dogs usually don’t bother us, but we found this annoying as it happened very often and for a long time... So, we will come back.

Almost the whole day, except from 12-2 PM and 6:15-8 PM, super loud music from the entertainment. I measured over 96db at the caravan under the awning. Also, continuously full volume at the pool! It's hardly bearable! 😔😔😡 Only in the Adult-Pool (only for 18 years and older), a good 500 meters at the other end of the campsite, is the noise not so audible. However, this area is not even half as large as the main pool and, since everyone seems to be fleeing from the noise, it is constantly overcrowded. So, anyone who wants to spend a quiet holiday at the Côte d'Azur should stay away from this campsite. This campsite is only for excessive entertainment lovers, party animals, or, please excuse me, the hearing impaired. Because the daily noise from the entertainment is also complemented by construction noise on weekdays, as various chalets are being built at different locations in the campsite. Never again, definitely! We are completely crossing the Sandaya group off our list.

The location of Camping Sandaya Riviera d'Azur could not be more beautiful: it is situated between the world-famous holiday resorts of Cannes and Saint-Tropez, not far from the fine sandy beaches of Saint-Aygulf. Two bathing areas, a spa and a restaurant ensure that holidaymakers feel pampered in every respect.
The quiet and attractively designed campsite on the Côte d'Azur is structured by laurel hedges and rows of oleanders. The plants separate the pitches from each other. The site is characterised by mobile homes and visitors also have the option of booking rental accommodation. The pitches are located in a separate area and are equipped with an electricity connection. Guests can pass the time with archery, mini golf or beach volleyball, and there is also a pool with water slides and a Zen bathing area for quiet hours. There is a restaurant, a bread roll service and a grocery shop on the campsite, with the nearest supermarket just 100 metres away. Little campers have also been catered for: children can play in the water garden or let off steam to their heart's content in the playground.
The campsite is just a few kilometres from the popular seaside resort of Saint-Aygulf. Holidaymakers can easily reach it by bus, which stops 100 metres from Camping Sandaya Riviera d'Azur. The Sentier des Douaniers, the former customs officers' path, runs here. It offers magnificent views over the turquoise-coloured sea. The so-called calanques are typical of the region. These are narrow and deeply indented bays with cosy beaches. There is an e-bike and bicycle hire service at the campsite. Visitors can discover the surrounding area on their own by car, e-bike or bike. The highlights naturally include Cannes and Saint-Tropez. Camping Sandaya Riviera d'Azur is located halfway between these two seaside resorts, which are famous for their beautiful beaches and rich cultural life. A trip to Saint-Raphael with its wildly romantic Cap Dramont and pretty harbour is also worthwhile. Hiking enthusiasts are also drawn to the Esterel, a rugged low mountain range between Saint-Raphael and Cannes.
A unique feature of Camping Sandaya Riviera d'Azur is its location on one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe. Visitors benefit from its proximity to fashionable seaside resorts such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes. The campsite's facilities make it perfect for all types of holidaymakers, from couples in love to families with children. Each of the pitches has a sanitary unit. There is also a separate sanitary block for campers with reduced mobility. The campsite is generally quiet. Facilities include two bathing areas, e-bike and bicycle hire, a fitness room and a spa. The restaurant, a bread roll service and a grocery shop cater for holidaymakers. The sports programme includes archery, tennis, beach volleyball and mini golf.
