In August 2016, we spent 2 weeks on the site with our then 3 and 5-year-old boys in a caravan. In the meantime, the site is no longer run by the family that was there before, but belongs to Sandaya. Upon our arrival, we were personally escorted to the campsite; we were advised on how to best set up the caravan and even received help with maneuvering. Super nice. Upon departure, each family received a small memento gift. The pool area is of course great. The sanitary facilities were very clean. What stayed in our children's memories was the landscape of the northern Perigord. Simply a dream. We didn’t want to go home, and even today we all rave about it and definitely want to vacation in this area again in the foreseeable future. Even with children, there is so much to discover in the area. In some places, you can also swim in the Dordogne. At that time, there were few German vacationers on the site, but many English people. We hope that the standard we experienced is maintained under Sandaya's management; otherwise, it would be really a shame for this great campsite.
