What campers are saying
Summarized by AI
The campsite scores with a great, green atmosphere and a fantastic pool area with slides. Campers particularly enjoy the shaded pitches and the friendly staff on site. Good to know for your trip: Anyone heading here should keep in mind that some rental accommodations are quite close together and the paths in the back area can be a bit bumpy.

Few camping spots, lots of noise, and the pool could be better.

This campsite is no longer for campers, but rather for people who prefer staying in a mobile home or hotel. The camping spots are small; you can hardly fit your car on the spot, and there’s no alternative parking. The pool generates a lot of noise at night, which affects many spots significantly. The campsite is aware of this but continues to rent out these spots ("you should have asked for a different spot"). Trucks also drive along that route, starting before 7 a.m. to make deliveries. The pool is large but very slippery. The lifeguards are strict, and reserving sun loungers is not allowed. There is very busy entertainment by the pool. We found the bread from the little shop unappetizing, but fortunately, there are supermarkets nearby. There are multiple charging points at the campsite, plus a Tesla charger just 5 minutes away. For us, it was not a success, mainly due to the nighttime noise and the daytime crowds.

Pros
The Esterel cottage was located in a quiet spot with plenty of parking available. The swimming pool is nice, but quite busy. The restaurant is okay. Friendly staff in all departments. There is plenty of space.
Cons
Campsite/Accommodations: The kitchen was missing scissors and a kettle.

Pros
We actually liked the site. However, the pitch/accommodation was not optimal; it was too narrow for us to set up a awning.
Cons
I sent an email before our arrival asking why the requested price was about 1/3 higher than the one originally booked and promised back in January, but I haven't received a response. The entrance for cars should be made wider.
