Camping Saignelégier

Idyllic location in a spruce forest, complete with numerous fire pits. You can choose your own pitch. Friendly reception. Very relaxed atmosphere, even when it is crowded. However, there is insufficient infrastructure (toilets, showers, washing areas). Why aren’t compost toilets possible? There are too few parking spaces for tent owners, leading to too many cars parked in the forest.

Positive: No fixed plots, old tree population, one orients oneself at the campfire sites, power needs through solar cells and battery (no land electricity connection), pure romance, walkable to the next village.

You can stand in the middle of the forest or next to a cow pasture. There is no electricity, but plenty of campfire spots.

Great place for hiking. The campground reception is friendly, but having only one person for arrivals and departures and for the shop is too long for the customers! There are not enough men's and women's restrooms (only one for each sex), and the showers are not enticing to use; they deserve a renovation!

sanitary facilities much too small for the number of campers being accommodated. therefore, often dirty. only 3 washing areas with hot water. only 4 showers. not always hot water. nice that you can make a fire! firewood from fir trees is also expensive, so bring your own. gives the impression that someone wants to make a lot of money quickly here. too bad. I knew the place was much cozier during earlier stays. last time for me.

Those who want to camp very close to nature are in the right place. No unnecessary luxury. No electricity connection, but pure tranquility. Sanitary facilities very clean! Great importance is placed on nature conservation here. Very friendly hosts! A hiker's paradise right at the motorhome door!
