ACSI discount in low season (27.00 per night) Nice campsite with different types of pitches. Mid-September is still very busy. There were no ACSI pitches available. For an additional charge of €8.00 per night, we got a large pitch by the sea. On that side our dog was also allowed in the water. On the other side, by the big beach, dogs are prohibited. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Noise disturbance from the main road next to the campsite and from passing airplanes. The sanitary facilities are neat and cleaned throughout the day. There are no lockable sink cubicles. The restaurant is atmospheric. Delicious dishes but not cheap. Only cash... Trogir is a lovely place that you can walk to in half an hour. By bike, you can get there in less than 10 minutes.

The place benefits from its beautiful location, but unfortunately it is very loud: street noise and airplanes. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant on site is also recommendable. A major downside for us were the dogs on the beach, even though it is prohibited; it is so unhygienic! What good is a ban that is not enforced? Washing facilities are visible, but washing naked is not possible because the individual washbasins are fully occupied with cleaning supplies. Furthermore, the sanitary building is open at the top and the water is not very warm, overall too cold for October. Unfortunately, the bakery had already closed.

My rating depends on the cost per night. In high season about 58€/night. (2 persons + pitch + electricity) The toilet building is a disgrace. In 3 weeks not once was there hot water. The toilet had to be cleaned by hand every time. (It surely depends on the fellow campers as well). Pitches are not divided. Within 3 weeks, 25 new neighbors!!!!. One was so bold as to stretch a clothesline across our (??) pitch and hang up his motorhome rugs. Due to a lack of path markings, everyone walked over every pitch. In the middle of the site, no CE sockets. No fresh water supply in this zone. Washing machine costs 7€/wash cycle. And what was not mentioned anywhere: every few minutes a plane, the site is in the flight path of Split airport. The access is more than adventurous. An invisible sharp bend..., with oncoming traffic and a slightly larger vehicle, someone has to reverse!

Perfect for boaters.... there is a slipway, as well as a jetty or buoys available. Small campsite but with quite a lot of passing traffic. Many only stay a few nights... Various pitches possible when booking. We are located in Zone C Seaside as we were last time, so we can see our boat. The sanitary facilities are simply disappointing. In parts very dirty, which of course is also due to the guests. But there are at least 3 cleaning staff at the same time, who are sometimes sitting behind the house.

Sites in the middle are clearly too expensive and too tightly spaced but acceptable for 2 nights. Sanitary facilities are very worn out, cleaning there is also difficult. Gravel beach on one side is clean, unfortunately there is no shade. The plots there are also sufficiently large. Baker's cart at the reception with great goods. There is a restaurant, but not tested... it was little visited.

The campsite is beautifully laid out, with nice pitches in partial shade. The sanitary facilities are old but still okay. However, the camping guide does not mention that it is located in the flight path of Split Airport. We had heavy air traffic! Additionally, the traffic on the through road that runs past the campsite is also very loud at night. Many motorized two-wheelers with loud exhaust systems drive through the narrow street late into the night, reflecting sound towards the campsite. Although the campsite allows dogs, the entire surrounding area is not suitable for dogs. We met many (desperate) dog owners. There are no sidewalks in front of the campsite but a lot of traffic. There is nothing green, only beach promenades where dogs are prohibited.

The campsite is beautifully located on a small peninsula with a lovely view of the bay. The pitches are nice, and there is a small bakery available in the mornings. The sanitary facilities are okay but need an upgrade soon. They are regularly cleaned.

The pictures look idyllic, but that's unfortunately misleading. We did not take advantage of the leisure and food offerings. The sanitary facilities are generous, not completely modern, but entirely sufficient. The cleanliness could be better. The site has a beautiful beach "only" on one side of the access road. Although the road is reserved for local traffic, it is still heavily traveled. There is a lot of construction in the bay. The noise can be heard from far away. Split Airport has its flight path here. The footpath to Trogir is not very far, but steep over the mountain.

The campsite on the island of Ciovo is located in the south of Croatia, just a few kilometres west of Split. The tranquil village of Okrug Gornji is less than 2 kilometres away and offers several restaurants where you can sample traditional Croatian cuisine. A real highlight at Camping Rožac is the cooperation with the local diving school, giving holidaymakers the opportunity to explore the colourful underwater world along the coast on their own. Travellers interested in culture will find the nearby town of Trogir a popular excursion destination. Its landmarks include the long waterfront promenade, the cathedral and the medieval Kamerlengo fortress. In Split, further afield, Diocletian's Palace and the Ivan Meštrović Gallery are among the most famous sights.
