Quiet Place
A quiet place near the Drau cycle path. Partial view of a small swimming pond, or a view of wooded hills. Sanitary facilities are fine, even though not everything was open during the pre-season. Tasty rolls available for pre-order at the site shop.

No Recommendation in the Pre-Season!
Unfortunately, ice-cold shower rooms and dish-washing areas and no mention on the website that the inn, as well as the small grocery store, are closed and will not open until mid-May. Comparatively high price for the service! When it's summer and the place is full, everything is certainly better.

Little Paradise in the Middle of Nature
We were there over the weekend during a heatwave and were delighted. Large trees provide shade all day, the swimming pond is perfectly tempered for the hot days by the creek that flows through it. Toilets and showers are also in good condition and were always clean.

THE (!) Campsite for Families with Dogs
Whether the swimming pond is for big and small, dog pond or dog playgrounds....everything is actually just right here. Bettes Restaurant is great, only the shop is a bit small.

Perfect for a vacation with children
So far, every visit has been perfect, even during the COVID summer. Also very nice for cycling, hiking, running, and mushroom picking. Beach volleyball and football as well as stand-up paddleboarding. Everything is clean and well-maintained.

Great Place for Families
The campsite is spacious and generously laid out. There are great playgrounds, as well as child care and separate sanitary facilities for the children. Petting zoo, kids' disco, little train, water slide,... everything is top-notch! There are also plenty of run-around options for dogs.

Four-legged and two-legged friends feel equally at home at the pet-friendly Camping Rosental Rož. This is ensured by a natural body of water and a separate dog pond. Children can look forward to a fun programme in the miniclub and carefree hours in the large playground.
The family-friendly Camping Rosental Rož welcomes its guests in a particularly peaceful location on a valley floor at the foot of the imposing Karawanken mountains. The campsite in sunny Carinthia offers 430 pitches with electricity and fresh water connections. Some of the pitches also have a waste water drain. Trees provide shade in many places on the eight-hectare site. The campsite is a paradise for dog owners: there are fenced-in dog meadows, separate showers and a dog pond for the four-legged friends. There is also a special dog walking trail. Part of the campsite is a dog-free zone. Camping Rosental Rož is also a paradise for children. The large natural swimming pond is a constant magnet for young and old water rats. With water temperatures of up to 24 degrees, the conditions for swimming and dinghy rides are perfect. In between, the little ones can let off steam in the large adventure playground. New friendships are quickly formed in the mini club. Some of the highlights include torchlight hikes, tractor rides and craft workshops. The petting zoo with its trusting donkeys, ponies and rabbits rounds off the leisure programme for families. Holidaymakers can use the beach volleyball court and football pitch for fun and games. Running, cycling and hiking trails start directly from the campsite and lead into the romantic Rosental valley or up to the peaks of the Karawanken mountains.
