Camping Romantische Straße

Large parking spaces, quiet location. Sanitary facilities very clean but somewhat dated, a mixing faucet where the chrome is peeling could also be replaced, 2 out of 4 showers were just dripping. A broom could do wonders, cobwebs and dirt everywhere in the outbuildings. A partly rude employee, discounts suddenly changed although still advertised on the website. The invoice supposedly only goes online; I only received a cancellation of my reservation?? A tax office prankster makes one think something sinister is afoot. No goodbye or did you enjoy your stay? No hello but just the remark that one parked badly, which happened to every second person at this entrance. So if you don't want guests to return, then you have achieved that with us, never again.

Very beautifully located campsite. Leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Very nice staff. Would definitely come again.

We have been visiting the campsite for several years, both for short vacations and as a stopover on our way south. What we particularly like about this site is the tranquility. The old section with tall trees is located in a small valley through which a stream flows. Everything you need to unwind is available: well-maintained and clean sanitary facilities, a simple but adequate indoor pool (now during Corona times, like everywhere, access is only by reservation), a bread roll service, a small camper shop, and on-site the restaurant Alte Brechscheuer with regional dishes and reasonable prices. In the immediate vicinity, there is a bathing lake with a water playground for children. There is a lot to do in the region itself.

As the name suggests: romantic camping, outside the season, a lot of quiet, small site, super clean sanitary facilities. Great starting point to explore the cultural highlights of the surroundings! A place to slow down and recharge! Great thermal baths and sauna landscapes within a 20 km radius!
