Rösjöbaden Camping & Stugby

Beautiful campsite, quiet by a lake, located very close to Stockholm. Significant investments have been made in recent years, new cabins have been built, and the overall site has been upgraded. The campsite is adjacent to an outdoor swimming pool with a slide. If you walk a bit through the woods, you can bathe in the lake alone, and the dogs can also go into the water. The operators are very friendly and attentive. Ideal place to explore Stockholm and its surroundings. We have been coming here for many years, and again in 2023.

Here we certainly won't be coming back. Part of the place was occupied by foreign mechanics. Not very reassuring, and the caravans looked terrible. Next to our caravan, all that was missing were red hearts in the window to let you know what it was used for. The mechanics had a loud party in the evenings. The next morning, the toilets and showers couldn't be used; everything was so dirty. Some evidently didn't make it to the restroom. The whole facility was also very neglected, no grass mowed and the flowers in the flower pots were rotting from the autumn. Not nice.

We chose this campsite because of its proximity to Stockholm and its location by the lake. Unfortunately, it has turned out that primarily technicians stay here and thus use the place as a cheap accommodation. The operators do not place much emphasis on the appearance. The staff regularly sit under a pavilion, celebrating and talking very loudly. The maintenance backlog of the site is very high, and you have to walk a long way to the "service" building for water, toilet, and disposal. We would not stay here again.
