It is one of the larger campsites in southern Italy. Supermarket well stocked. Basic supplies available at fair prices. Drinks overpriced. Sanitation is partially very old and not always clean (which is more due to the guests). Negatively, there is the evening constant noise from 2 neighboring hotels. It's hell until late at night. In September, countless dogs are present. Waste was not picked up and the established rules were completely ignored by many dog owners. The animals were washed in the normal showers, which is correspondingly unhygienic. Restaurants on the site offer very good regional cuisine and can be highly recommended.

We visited in the off-season, so it wasn't too crowded. The campsite is great, with everything you need. The beach is a dream. We would have liked to stay longer. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The spot was close to the beach and not far from the washrooms.

We were there this year in September for the 6th time in a row. As always very nice and the standard is also high this year. We come here because this place was until now not allowed for dogs. However, this year in September very much so. For us it's an affront! Dogs everywhere, in most cases thankfully on leashes. Only when the territory is permanently marked everywhere, even on the wooden posts to the beach, are the dogs, although not allowed, taken to the beach and leave their droppings there, sometimes unleashed playing around the people lying down! Is that still nice? In addition, the showers and sanitary facilities are used with dogs. The owners should... All in all, if this continues with the dogs, we will look for another place. WHAT A SHAME!

We were positively surprised by how good the campsite is. Compared to 2009, when we were here for the first time.

The location by the beach and the excellent sanitary facilities. This year for the first time, dogs were welcome and we gratefully took advantage of that. I swam in the sea with my dog every day. In the evenings, there was quite a bit of noise from a nearby resort. All in all, it was a great campsite. We stayed here for three days.

Surrounded by a dense pine forest, the Riva di Ugento Beach Camping Resort invites you to enjoy a relaxing holiday in southern Italy. Families, couples and single travellers can enjoy a wonderful stay by the Ionian Sea.
Camping Riva di Ugento is located directly on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Apulia in the south of Italy. Holidaymakers can reach the 1000 metre stretch of coast in just a few steps. The finest sand and the turquoise-blue waters of the Ionian Sea promise perfect conditions for swimming, relaxing and diving in the summer months between April and October. As an alternative to the open sea, the Riva di Ugento Beach Camping Resort also offers guests an open-air swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. The flat baby pool in the outdoor area is ideal for toddlers and babies.
The campsite is located in the province of Lecce in Apulia. The nearest larger town is Ugento, 2.5 km away, although campers do not need to leave the campsite to go shopping. There is a well-stocked supermarket on site. There is also a bread roll service and the snack bar and restaurant offer some culinary delights from Italian cuisine. Fast Wi-Fi and high-quality, wheelchair-accessible sanitary facilities are standard at the Riva di Ugento Beach Camping Resort, as is the varied entertainment programme. Holidaymakers can take part in sports and yoga courses or play beach volleyball and tennis. Boats and bicycles can also be hired. Guided horse rides with the campsite's horses are also very popular. Travellers can learn windsurfing and kitesurfing at the water sports school. In addition to numerous parcelled pitches, there are also mobile homes and caravans available, all of which are fully equipped so that nothing is left to be desired. Thanks to the facilities for washing and drying clothes, nothing stands in the way of a longer stay. The Ugento Nature Park, with its picturesque landscapes, is a real paradise for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. For holidaymakers interested in culture, excursions to Lecce, 60 km away, are recommended. The amphitheatre dating back to Roman antiquity, the Basilica of Santa Croce with its magnificent façade and the imposing cathedral are among the architectural landmarks there.
