Noteworthy is the unfriendliness of the staff. The sanitary facilities are new, but poorly designed, with shower water not draining and being dirty. Many campers are the size of a city bus. The pitches are narrow. Departure must be before 11:00 AM, which means you have to check out before that time. In our case, it was around 09:00 AM. You are then immediately disconnected from the electricity.

What a terrible campsite! I will never come here again. Unfriendly staff, small pitches, wristband for the restrooms, barriers do not work when the reception is closed, and therefore you cannot enter or leave the site. Grass usage is prohibited. Extra payment for your own electricity, but anyone can plug their own cable into yours. The restaurant is closed.

When I was there, I read some p o reviews, negative, about the manager. The next day I saw someone walking with the camping logo, they didn’t greet. Two days later, just when I thought we might be getting along well, he passed us again, without greeting. My partner saw him telling someone that the car was still parked at the spot and it had to be moved; this wasn't allowed, it was arbitrary, because there were others with their car parked there, not talking about the spots by the river which are more expensive. Suddenly he appeared. The caravan was facing the wrong way, and he was right about that after explaining. He said kindly that we should turn it around next time. That won't happen; when we walked back to the camping that afternoon after visiting the Altstadt, he stormed out of the reception and asked if we were camping guests, we had no wristband. We got that during check-in for the sanitary facilities, where you could just go in. Later it turned out it was a different building, and we were not informed about this, nor that we had to go around.

I came here as a child years ago. It has become a beautiful campsite with a new sanitary building. It's just a pity that there are only 3 toilets and 3 sinks! That’s really minimal. You are brushing your teeth while people come out of the toilet needing to wash their hands. We stayed there for just one night, but we felt unwelcome. We were immediately approached by an extremely unfriendly man who spoke very gruffly to us, even though we were doing nothing wrong. We stopped briefly to unload some things from the car and immediately received a sharp reprimand that we weren't allowed to do that! When we left the next morning with our caravan and had to drive very carefully alongside a garden fence because it was incredibly tight, that man came running over angrily and scolded us again for doing something wrong. Absolutely outrageous! I will never come back here!

Beautiful quiet campsite within walking distance of the historic city center. Right next door, there is an outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, there are no offerings for children (like a playground). Especially in the back sanitary building, cleanliness could be improved. In the front, everything is top-notch. The rolls were great.

The riverside site is highly recommended, the sanitary facilities are new, and the restaurant is fantastic.

After reading many negative reviews, we initially considered choosing another campsite. However, due to its proximity to the old town, we decided to go with this one after all – and we were pleasantly surprised. We can only say good things about the place. Even the owner, who has been described as unfriendly in some reviews, was very nice and helpful with us. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and can recommend the campsite.

I can only agree with the previous negative reviews! Everything has been said... Unfortunately, I didn't check the reviews when booking, which was a mistake. Impossible site manager, dirty sanitary facilities, everything you don't need.
