Mr. Weiss, the site manager, was simply rude and unfriendly. He does not treat you like a guest, but like a nuisance. Already upon arrival, he interferes unfriendly and does not ask if everything has been found well after you have properly registered, but treats you as if you had unlawfully occupied the site. The only good thing was the location with limitations because of the traffic noise. We cannot evaluate the new sanitary facilities, as they were usable but probably not approved and furnished incomplete. It was clean. There is a lack of hooks, for example, and the light always turns off. My little daughter was sitting in the dark on the toilet because she was too small to trigger the sensor. Washing facilities in the washhouse were only three directly by the toilets.

We had promised ourselves a lot, but it was impossible! Narrow places, unfriendly operators, inadequate sanitary facilities, or under construction. Never again!

The sound of the Lahn and the proximity to the city are good. But that's it. Price performance is not right at all. Too expensive, unfriendly, and dirty. Pixiclo and shower containers are simply outrageous!

upon our arrival, our pitch was occupied by a stranger, crammed next to the caravan, the site manager was standing there and did not explain to us that the whole parcel was ours. after the stranger parked away, we re-parked our caravan and the site manager came and gave his approval, the next day a very unfriendly man came, he confronted the neighbors saying they had to take down their inflatable awning, according to the house rules not allowed, (neither available on the internet nor at reception.) we were told to place our caravan on the other side of the site, gravel (even though our caravan entrance is on the other side) otherwise he would 'throw' us off the site, lowest of the low, that is not how you treat guests, we were not informed about this beforehand, other campers were also on the grass side. we then left a day earlier. never again, very loud, train traffic.

The closeness to the city center and the direct location by the Lahn was good. Construction work on the square was known, as was the railway line opposite and the highway next door. Therefore, one should not forget the earplugs for the night. What really bothered us was the hygiene of the sanitary facilities. 3 washing places in the open air had warm water on Tuesday and Wednesday, but from Thursday to Saturday the water remained cold despite repeated reports. The bird droppings on the wash basin went uncleaned from Tuesday to Saturday, an empty bottle was not removed. At the sanitary building at the end of the square, there was suspicion that it was not cleaned daily, which was then also confirmed by the reception. Cleaning only on 4 days of the week, although the square was almost full on the weekend and the sanitary facilities (still) were far too few. Happy is he who has a sanitary facility on board.

Great location, unfortunately the sanitary facilities are still under construction. Great pitches right by the water. Very expensive.

Directly on the Lahn. Nicely divided pitches. A very nice sanitary building, probably recently restored, a large sanitary building under construction. Friendly operators. Overall, the site is very well maintained. Highway and railway within hearing distance, but not disturbing.
