Camping Resort Limburg

I came here as a child years ago. It has become a beautiful campsite with a new sanitary building. It's just a pity that there are only 3 toilets and 3 sinks! That’s really minimal. You are brushing your teeth while people come out of the toilet needing to wash their hands. We stayed there for just one night, but we felt unwelcome. We were immediately approached by an extremely unfriendly man who spoke very gruffly to us, even though we were doing nothing wrong. We stopped briefly to unload some things from the car and immediately received a sharp reprimand that we weren't allowed to do that! When we left the next morning with our caravan and had to drive very carefully alongside a garden fence because it was incredibly tight, that man came running over angrily and scolded us again for doing something wrong. Absolutely outrageous! I will never come back here!

Beautiful quiet campsite within walking distance of the historic city center. Right next door, there is an outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, there are no offerings for children (like a playground). Especially in the back sanitary building, cleanliness could be improved. In the front, everything is top-notch. The rolls were great.

The riverside site is highly recommended, the sanitary facilities are new, and the restaurant is fantastic.

After reading many negative reviews, we initially considered choosing another campsite. However, due to its proximity to the old town, we decided to go with this one after all – and we were pleasantly surprised. We can only say good things about the place. Even the owner, who has been described as unfriendly in some reviews, was very nice and helpful with us. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and can recommend the campsite.

I can only agree with the previous negative reviews! Everything has been said... Unfortunately, I didn't check the reviews when booking, which was a mistake. Impossible site manager, dirty sanitary facilities, everything you don't need.

Mr. Weiss, the site manager, was simply rude and unfriendly. He does not treat you like a guest, but like a nuisance. Already upon arrival, he interferes unfriendly and does not ask if everything has been found well after you have properly registered, but treats you as if you had unlawfully occupied the site. The only good thing was the location with limitations because of the traffic noise. We cannot evaluate the new sanitary facilities, as they were usable but probably not approved and furnished incomplete. It was clean. There is a lack of hooks, for example, and the light always turns off. My little daughter was sitting in the dark on the toilet because she was too small to trigger the sensor. Washing facilities in the washhouse were only three directly by the toilets.

We had promised ourselves a lot, but it was impossible! Narrow places, unfriendly operators, inadequate sanitary facilities, or under construction. Never again!
