Camping Rangau

Beautiful and quiet location near the highway. Clean and modern sanitary facilities. Public bathing area in the immediate vicinity.

Nice campsite that impresses with its location, the restaurant with delicious food, its own and easily accessible public beach, clean sanitary facilities, and a small shop. Unfortunately, there were also negative experiences here. We were promised 2 adjacent pitches, but unfortunately, another camper was parked between our two motorhomes. However, we were lucky with our large pitches; in the evening, every spot was occupied, even if it was the access road to the rear pitches. These campers had to enjoy their time at the campsite squeezed between the end of their vehicle and the front of the next one. And that on the dusty access road. And always remember, RV drivers greet each other.

Just like mentioned in the other reviews, clean, well-laid out, great location, nice restaurant, but just not cheap.

We were on our way south. We actually wanted a place to stay overnight. Very friendly reception by the site manager, who introduced himself as "Ali". He did everything he could. Two sanitary buildings. One is older but TOP clean, the other very modern and also very clean. The site is located by a great lake. The nightly concert of the frogs was very soothing. The restaurant offering German/Turkish cuisine should not go unmentioned. We went there every day. The entire site is absolutely recommended.

Were just passing through: Nice spot and still close to the highway. Friendly reception. Restrooms well-maintained and clean. Restaurant: Great price/performance. Plus fresh, tasty, and friendly. We will come back on the next trip + maybe stay 1-2 nights longer.

A nice little spot. Friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities. The fun doesn't fall short even for children. Great value for money in this area. We had a small alternative spot, and we were very satisfied.

Location? Good! Because close to the A3, but still quiet. And near Erlangen. And at a very beautiful bathing and sailing lake. Facilities: Already the reception signals to you what to expect at the site. Good organization, modern and tidy, clear and quickly understandable. There follows a well-structured area for transient campers, easy to drive in and generously sized pitches. A restaurant and a clean sanitary area that truly deserves this attribute. Just the area for washing dishes is almost luxurious, generously sized. A clean and nicely furnished playground makes the stay with the little ones a "child's" play. But the best place is nothing without its friendly, patient, and helpful site manager. My tip: Camping Rangau!

Nice, small place that is well organized. The pitches are a bit small, but everything is manageable. The sanitary facilities are super clean. Price-wise also completely okay, and the lake nearby is really nice. You can take great bike tours from there. Erlangen is not far away. Overall good.
