We were really lucky with the weather, everything was perfect. Friendly staff, no problem with English. The accommodation was clean and okay. A bit hilly and wooded surroundings, we could do a lot. Because the weather was good, the kids could also use the water slide. It was really lovely. At some point, we will come back again without the kids. Definitely.

Surrounded by green forests, Randbøldal Camping is located on the banks of a quiet river. On warm days, the large bathing lake with a fine sandy beach and slide in the centre of the site is a great attraction. The real attraction, however, is the perfect location for day trips with the family: Legoland Resort with its numerous rides and the huge Lalandia water park are just a 15-minute drive away.

Just 200 metres from the small village of Randbøl, Randbøldal Camping is located in the heart of Denmark's beautiful countryside. The 5-hectare site has 125 pitches, each with an area of 70 to 100 m², and is open all year round. Each pitch is equipped with a CEE socket and there is the option of emptying cassette toilets. On arrival, guests can choose their pitch as they wish - whether close to the bathing lake or the forest. Dogs are also welcome. There are numerous activities for the little ones to choose from: the large bathing lake with a sandy beach, 60 metre long slide and pedal boats on the one hand, and the extensive playground with trampolines, table tennis tables and ladder golf on the other. Fun evenings for children of all ages with games and shows are also organised during the season. The quiet location by the river creates a relaxed, family atmosphere. The spacious, light-flooded lounge area offers space for pleasant evenings including stimulating conversations with neighbouring families. The on-site Café Skjulestedet serves an extensive breakfast buffet every morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and also offers a varied menu for lunch and dinner. Those who prefer to prepare their own juicy steak can hire one of the well-equipped barbecue areas for a cosy evening.
Exciting amusement parks and relaxing hiking tours
The town of Billund, home of Lego and the oldest Lego Land, is located in the immediate vicinity of Ranbøldal campsite. Rides and attractions in a total of nine different theme worlds offer fun and entertainment for children and adults. Billund is also home to the Lalandia Aquadome, Scandinavia's largest water park with numerous water slides, a wave pool and a large wellness area. The idyllic Randbøl Heath and the varied valley of the River Vejle provide a pleasant balance. These green natural landscapes can be explored on foot or by bike.
