Camping Porta del Sol

Good and clean washrooms, unfortunately predominantly permanent campers, holiday spots separate from that and unfortunately not so well maintained.

There aren't many spots for short-term campers, as the campsite consists mostly of permanent campers. But if you book a spot in time, you can have a really quiet campsite by the Baltic Sea, which is about a 10-minute walk away. The promenade is a 45-minute walk or a 15-minute bike ride away. However, the staff at the campsite are really friendly, nice, and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained.

The sanitary facilities are new and very nice and above all very, very clean. The showers are spacious; however, the water intervals are far too short - only about 5 seconds, then it stops. In such a short time, it is difficult to get wet at all, let alone rinse off the soap. Washing hair is very difficult with longer and thicker hair. The parking space is very large, but not mowed. Clover and grass are quite high, which makes the area somewhat unkempt.

It is a very beautiful, well-kept place. 99% are permanent campers, but there are spots for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. There is a washroom available which can be accessed via an access card. From 1 PM to 3 PM, no arrivals are possible as the gate/reception is not staffed. Also, during this time the barrier and driving within the site are closed. Price performance, top-notch. Water, electricity, and greywater are directly at the pitch. Chemical toilet disposal is at the washhouses, reachable in less than 2-3 minutes on foot from the pitches.

I have been a guest at this quiet, clean campsite twice already. August 2019 and June 2020. The staff is very friendly and I felt very safe and at home since I am traveling alone with my motorhome. The pitch was large and I had enough space to spread out without feeling cramped. The sanitary facilities are very clean and equipped with enough toilets and showers. The space for washing laundry and dishes is also very spacious and generously furnished. Nearby there is a pizzeria and a small shop. One can reach the city by bike in a few minutes. The price for the pitch was okay. Wi-Fi needs improvement (it had to be constantly reconnected). I can recommend this campsite with a clear conscience.

The campsite is very beautiful and peacefully located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are regularly cleaned. It is not far to the Lenster beach where you can swim very well. Next to the site is a small Baltic Sea market where you can get rolls in the morning and also everything else you need. At the beach, there is a climbing park, a bakery, and toilets.

We are spending a few days at the site during the autumn holidays. The staff is very friendly. The other campers - many of whom are permanent campers - are also very nice. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The site is quiet. It's not far to the beach. There are many opportunities for cycling and walking.
