We were traveling for 3 weeks and spent 4 days at the Plörz lakeside camping site. What we liked was that dogs can go into the lake and there is a fenced area for them to run and play. However, if you are there with 2 adults, 2 children, and a dog with a motorhome, the price of €78.80 per night is quite steep. You really have to enjoy camping, because for that price you could rent a nice vacation apartment right by the lake. This was something that bothered me at many campsites over the 3 weeks. Furthermore, the price list indicates that the local tax would be included, but on the invoice, a tourist tax of €1.60 per person is charged. In general, prices for campsites have become very high, and I find it excessive that the motorhome is charged at €18. Because then the adults are additionally charged €15 each, children €9.60 each, plus tourist tax and environmental levy, one should really think about these prices. We have vacation apartments ourselves and charge €18 per person including all costs, such as water, heating, electricity, etc. A vacation apartment requires more than just a large lawn. The prices for campsites have become exaggerated and are too expensive for young families with children. Families with a small budget used to go on holiday at the campsite, but nowadays it’s better to rent a vacation apartment because camping also requires either a large tent, caravan, or mobile home with equipment. This criticism applies not only to the review of Plörz but to the majority of campsites. At the Lauritsch family site, dogs feel very comfortable, the facility is clean, and everyone is very friendly.

Have started the campsite several times. For one night, on the way to Croatia. Dogs welcome. Sanitary facilities good and clean. Operators very nice. Dog exercise area across from the site. Would also stay longer.
