Camping & Bungalows Platja Brava

Pros

Very beautiful and well-maintained site, quietly located yet everything is on hand. We found it very pleasant that the campsite is still not too large and everything is not cramped together. Hopefully, it stays that way. A lovely beach and a great pool area. We are thrilled. The nice weather of course also plays a role :-) Huge praise to the always friendly staff and the good organization. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Fully equipped and clean, it left us no wishes unfulfilled. Great terrace with well-thought-out privacy screening. My wife found the relatively large bathroom quite pleasant.

Pros

Very important. The sanitation facilities are super clean, and the showers are warm. There is a beautiful space.

The campsite does not accept the ADAC Campcard! Despite being shown in the app, the manager refuses the discount. They were happy to let themselves be listed in the app to attract guests, and once they arrive, they apparently expect them to stay, which is their calculation.

Pros

The toilets appeared to be continuously cleaned, looking neat and tidy. There are plenty of toilets and nice showers. A staff member spoke Dutch at the reception, which was great! The sea was really close, lovely. The bakery is fantastic; there is something for everyone and a wide selection. Almost everything can be found at the supermarket. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: The pitch was great, very spacious, nothing to complain about.

Cons

The only thing I can mention is that only one person can use the Wi-Fi. And that from September the shelves are not being stocked well in the supermarket.

Cons

WLAN quality (expensive, poor bandwidth, many outages) loud animation (spinning) causes noise disturbances for over 2 hours; participants could be equipped with headphones here to avoid disturbing others. Pitch/rental accommodation: relocate spinning to another location or introduce headphones. Parking spots closer to the pitches SAT-TV connection

👍 The proximity to the beach and the water sports options available on site were excellent. The place Platja de Pals was also not overly touristy. The shop at the site, along with the bakery, was very good, and the staff was very friendly. The sanitary facilities were very clean and always stocked with soap and toilet paper. Unfortunately, they were a bit dated. Campsite/Accommodation: It was shady and the space was large enough, but the trees were often poorly placed for large caravans. The water tap was also great, and the ground was level. The extra parking spot for the car was also good, and the roads were regularly dampened to limit dust. 👎 The additional internet booked and the one included in the site price were unfortunately disappointing. The bike rental was also somewhat disappointing, as it was not managed by the campsite. You only get the keys from the reception, and some of the bikes that are there are in bad condition.
