Picturesquely situated on the banks of the river La Baume in the Ardeche in southern France, Camping Les Platanes offers a wealth of activities and is also an ideal starting point for hikes in the Alps. Ample pitches and cosy mobile homes await guests south of Rosières. An outdoor swimming pool, opportunities for kayaking and canoeing, volleyball and table tennis offer sporty leisure activities. Horse riding and fishing are also possible. Entertainment is not neglected either: entertainment programmes for young and old, including dance evenings, are organised. A small supermarket and snack bar are also available. A speciality is the handyman service for mobile homes. In the Monts d'Ardèche nature park to the north of Rosières, well-signposted hiking trails lead into an unspoilt natural landscape.
