Camping Pian dei Boschi

The campsite is located on a hill about 15 minutes on foot to a beach and 20 minutes to the center. The staff is friendly. It has a small supermarket, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a bar. We felt very comfortable. Internet was available in the bar area and reached to the sanitary facilities. These were not very modern, but apart from toilet paper, they had everything you need. Only minor drawbacks due to the location, which wasn't too bad, slightly outdated sanitary facilities, which also didn't bother much, and a pool that wasn't too big but had everything you needed. Only at the sea were there further drawbacks due to the predominant gravel beach and lack of shaded areas. Sun umbrellas are recommended. The "private beach" is only a cooperation through which you get discounts. 2 sunbeds and an umbrella cost 13 euros per day. Overall, the campsite is highly recommended. Therefore, 3.5 - 4 stars.

We enjoyed 1 week of vacation in a mobile home. The mobile home was very spacious. Unfortunately, we found the mobile home not very clean. Since you have to pay 60€ for the final cleaning, I expect a clean mobile home. The campsite is about 700m from the sea. There is a pool that is gladly used for cooling off. We expected something different from the evening program since it stated Baby Dance on the homepage. However, this only took place on one evening.

The street can sometimes be heard, it is possible to walk to the beach. The food is quite good.

Narrow space conditions, characterized by permanent campers. Despite an agreed arrival time of 3:00 PM, our spot was still not free. Therefore, the operator required us to leave the entrance. Everything was very tight, no turn-around possibility, so we had to go backwards onto a public road, in an S-curve, uphill, a nightmare. The assigned waiting area was then a narrow public parking lot in a dead end. The caravan had to be uncoupled to turn around. For this, we then got a spot under high, dense trees that hardly let any sunlight through. Conclusion: unfriendly staff, tight space conditions, not helpful. The worst experience we ever had in the beautiful South.

For €42 a night, there should at least be toilet paper and a soap dispenser available. There is no hot water in the sink, and in the showers, 3 minutes of hot water costs an extra €1. The price/performance ratio does not match at all. Otherwise, a nicely designed site.

Well-maintained facility, e.g., pool

Beautiful little place with organized parking spaces. ADAC Campcard is accepted and the price/performance ratio is favorable. Only disadvantage: very few sitting toilets (and these without toilet seats), otherwise the cleanliness of the standing toilets is good!!!
