Camping Perun Lipce

Actually a very well-kept place ideal for biking also to the waterfall, but the rudest person on earth. We had inquired via email and also received feedback, but after a brief visit BEFORE the entrance, we briefly discussed whether we should actually stay here. That's when the Armani polo shirt god urged us to leave! Well, we did end up following our gut feeling and did the right thing. And goodbye

Space for campers and WoMos in transit. We arrived on Saturday around 3:00 PM and thought what an idyll... by 8:00 PM the place looked more like a big parking lot and we could consider ourselves lucky to have arrived there so early. Price for the spot including car and electricity ~40€. It was okay for one night. The toilets and sanitary facilities are then actually not sufficient for this overcrowding on Saturdays in the summer. 3 (!) men's toilets, 2 PP, 3 sinks, and 3 showers. And then equally as many for the ladies. Surprisingly, it sometimes works even if you plan the usage asynchronously. The sanitary facilities were always clean - the bathroom was even cleaned every 5 minutes. So you marvel at what is possible. The next morning the place was pure idyll. Short path to the bathing river Sava, which however did not seem very clean (it was cold). Bread service and food on site.

We made a stop here at this campsite on our way to and from Croatia 🏕️. You cannot reserve a spot; hopefully, you get a place. Even if the site is quite full, they do everything possible to accommodate you. You can order food here, which is then delivered from the town. Ice cream and freshly tapped beer 🍺 (3.50 €) are sold on the site itself. The showers are cold, but the sanitary facility is tip-top clean (it is constantly being cleaned). Nice view. We will come back.

Quiet small campsite. Very clean and tidy.

Nice view of the river to the right, factory to the left. Disturbance from the nearby highway and the smell often coming from the sanitary house. The owner's wife is nice, but he is a grumpy old man who keeps an eye on where you walk and sometimes scolds you across the square.

The location of the campsite is beautifully by the river. However, to the left, there is an ugly factory, better to look to the right. Unfortunately, you have to pay immediately without any information on where to find anything. You are assigned a spot by a grumpy owner even though it is almost empty. I was completely crooked on the uneven ground, and he thought that was fine. Behind me, there wasn't a single vehicle, and a new sanitation vehicle was being erected that is closed. I was on the phone and walked with my dog to the fence and leaned against it. That’s when I heard him yell across the site that it was private. I wasn't even inside but on the opened side. Sorry, but this is completely unacceptable.

We felt very comfortable in the quiet idyll. Although there were only 2-3 other campers besides us, the sanitary facilities were regularly cleaned, everything was very clean, and the meadows and flowers gave a well-groomed impression. We were greeted very warmly and enjoyed the peace that one presumably has here because there is no frills that some vacationers seek in the overcrowded sites.... We also appreciated the proximity to the Vintgarklamm.

We did not have a pleasant stay at this campsite for several reasons: The owner is incredibly unfriendly. A real profit vulture for whom hospitality is a foreign word. Nearby, there is a loud factory, and it's not quite clear whether swimming in the lake in front of the campsite is allowed because of the factory. The camping area for tents is right next to the sanitary facilities, which emitted an incredible stench. It was barely bearable. High price for little service, what a shame!
