The camping site really only has the direct proximity to the lake as a good point, everything else is rundown and truly in bad condition. The condition of the central main sanitary building is an absolute disgrace and should be immediately closed and renovated.

We only stayed one night on our way through and had to pay 37 euros for a spot in front of the barrier!! No water, no trash can!! Nothing And then an additional 4 euros for the dog! Really cheeky That's not how you win new guests, but they probably don't want to anyway!

While the restrooms are okay, the restaurant on the site is great. But from my perspective (retired), this site urgently needs to be refurbished. The paths are very narrow and in dire need of repair. Many trees, very shady. The site is tremendously large. A lot of long-term campers occupying mainly unkempt and relatively small plots. We were there during Pentecost 2024, notoriously high season, so really full, fully booked. Constant driving of the campers, arrivals and departures, so VERY loud, even during lunchtime. The operators have no qualms about the prices. Electricity per day €3.90, garbage per person €2.00, tourist tax per person (for what?) €3.50, and heaven forbid if you have a small trailer of 2.50m with your small motorhome of 7m, that will also cost you an additional €4.00 per day. Additionally, of course, there are fees for the site, for individuals and if you have a dog.

Beautiful spot right by the lake, mostly separate designated pitches separated by hedges. Sanitary facilities very clean and always maintained. Supermarket very well stocked. Direct connection to the cycling network. We really enjoyed it and will come back!

Had a spot 50 m from the water and could swim every morning. Unfortunately, the campsite was too small for our motorhome.

What a great campsite. We were immediately impressed by the entrance and the friendliness of the staff. Everything is top organized. You are personally guided to your pitch. The site itself is huge with large plots. Centrally located is the supermarket, which really offers almost everything you need, especially the fresh rolls in the morning. The bike rental next to it is also great, costing €12 per day. The bikes are good. There are also plenty of playgrounds available, along with various leisure options on top. There are seating areas and machines for coffee and ice cream, as well as chilled drinks at the supermarket. It's nice to sit here. The highlight is the new sanitary building behind the reception, almost a wellness temple. There are also very large sanitary buildings distributed throughout the campsite. These were always very clean. There are also cooking areas, washing machines and dryers, and dishwashing tables. As mentioned, the campsite is huge, which means it can take some time to walk to Lake Constance, depending on where you are. But once you’re there, you are right by the lake, great! Enjoying the sunset here in the evening, top-notch. Directly at the entrance is a great restaurant, the Schnaidter Hof. Top! Also right at the entrance is the harbor and the restaurant Marina Beach. Super location!

There is a dog shower and a stand with disposal bags... a dog area outside the camp. The beach chair for dogs was not cleared once in 10 days despite 2 complaints; the complaint was dismissed with a lack of staff. In contrast, about 3 kilometers of beach without dogs were regularly maintained. The site gives a very unkempt impression; the pitches are not maintained. The showers and toilets are very outdated... A basic course in hygiene would still be sensible for the cleaning staff at the supermarket (paper towel for cleaning the toilet). There are no hooks in front of the sanitary facilities for the dog. Water bowls are sought in vain; however, many signs indicate that dogs are welcome here?? For additional revenue, 4 euros per day, yes. The washing machine costs 12 euros; the new washing house is great, but the staff is very terse... We will not recommend this site!! Wargim by the lake has shown us that camping with a dog can be great!!

Beautiful location right by the lake. However, the sanitary facilities by the supermarket have the charm of a barracks from the 1970s. At the reception sat a very overweight man who greeted with a friendliness that felt forced. ID, how long do you want to stay? Drive in past the barrier and wait until my colleague arrives. The plots are partially very shady and trapezoidal in shape. In the front, just a little wider than the motorhome, at the back three times as wide. The awning can only be extended partially. At least on the plot where we stayed. It is beyond our understanding how ADAC can rate this place as a tip for 2023?? This place does not deserve the stars it has. Perhaps the rating will be reconsidered and will turn out differently next year. If nothing happens here during the winter months, the site deserves a maximum of 2-2.5 stars for the upcoming season.

The spacious Camping Park Gohren am See is located between Lindau and Friedrichshafen in the municipality of Kressbronn on Lake Constance. Here, families with children, those seeking relaxation and holidaymakers with dogs can enjoy an all-round successful break with a magnificent panorama of Lake Constance. Diving and stand-up paddling, sauna sessions and animal adventures in the petting zoo: these are all leisure options that guests will appreciate. Massages are also offered directly on site.
With an area of over 32 hectares, Camping Park Gohren am See is one of the largest holiday areas on the German side of Lake Constance. 600 pitches, just over half of which are parcelled out, are available for guests with motorhomes, caravans and tents. The areas measuring between 55 and 90 square metres in areas A to C are particularly popular with camping holidaymakers, as they are closest to the two beaches. The supermarket and bike hire as well as the very popular barbecue areas and barrel saunas are concentrated in the centre of the site. Once guests have registered at reception, the sauna is heated up and the sweat-inducing relaxation ritual can begin just an hour later. Holidaymakers can use the barbecue areas, equipped with a round swivel barbecue, free of charge. Everything you need for an evening feast with friends or new holiday acquaintances is available in the well-stocked supermarket at Camping Park Gohren am See. If you want to treat yourself to a relaxing break, you can treat yourself to a soothing massage right on the campsite. Those who prefer to spend time with their four-legged friends can meet up in the dog meadow. There are also showers for your animal friends on the site. The showers for the two-legged individual holidaymakers are spread over a total of five sanitary buildings, the cleanliness of which is just one reason for the many good guest reviews of Camping Park Gohren am See.
It doesn't always have to be the Red Sea or the distant Pacific idyll for diving: Lake Constance is also an attractive spot for underwater sports enthusiasts. Thanks to the diving centre directly on the recreational area, licensed divers can hire the appropriate equipment. Inexperienced divers can take a course to learn how to use a compressor and breathing mask. Stand-up paddling, on the other hand, requires good balance. Those who like to relax on the water can cycle to Langenargen, just 3 kilometres to the west, or to Kressbronn on Lake Constance to the east, where they can board an excursion boat. Sailing courses for children, teenagers and adults are also regularly organised by the campsite operator.
