Camping Pai da Maria

A very friendly operator family (Daniele speaks German). Daniele takes great care of the wishes and needs of his guests. His wife cooks very tasty dishes upon request in the morning. The campsite is conveniently located between Torri del Benaco and Malcesine. The bus stop is almost directly in front of the site. We stayed on the campsite for a week and felt very comfortable. We will gladly return.

We were greeted extremely friendly in fluent German. The operator directs you to the pitch, which is located on a meadow area between olive trees. There are water taps for fresh drinking water at several places in the area of the pitches. Since we didn’t stay long, I can only assess the front area of the site, we didn’t look at the back area, but one can assume that any additional service units will have the same good standard. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well-maintained, dishwashing sinks are in a separate room where there is also a washing machine. There is no pit for gray water, so you would have to help yourself with a bucket if necessary, otherwise everything is there. On request, you can get fresh rolls in the morning, and you can also order dinner, I recommend spaghetti carbonara here.

Very nice place run by a family with a lot of heart. Rolls can be ordered (cheap) and there is the option to get small meals in the evening. Unfortunately, olive oil was already sold out.
