Camping North Wind

Italy's Lake Como offers ideal wind conditions for surfing and sailing, which is why North Wind, located on the lake shore, attracts water sports enthusiasts in particular. But other active holidaymakers also get their money's worth in the surrounding Alps, which stretch up to 2,609 metres above sea level.

Camping with a wide range of water and nature sports on offer

The North Wind campsite is located on the northern shore of Lake Como in the tranquil holiday resort of Domaso, which nestles beautifully against wooded mountain slopes. Travellers love to stroll through the authentic little village while drinking regional wine and feasting on specialities made from fish caught fresh from the lake. The small campsite is located on a flat meadow area, which is sunny in places and partly shaded by tall deciduous trees. A total of 90 pitches ranging in size from 60 to 75 square metres are available for caravan owners, all of which are equipped with power sockets. The hot water showers in the modern sanitary building are heated using environmentally friendly solar energy. A cosy bar with breakfast, coffee, snacks and colourful cocktails is available on the campsite. Bathing fans appreciate the location on Lake Como, thanks to which they can reach the pebble beach and sunbathing lawns in just a few steps. The harbour area, where motorboats and sailing boats can be hired, is also just a ten-minute walk away. For sporty seaside fun, Camping North Wind organises water skiing, kiteboarding courses and windsurfing equipment. Those who want to take part in alpine activities can climb the steep rock faces of the Grigna mountains and Monte Resegone. Canyoning allows adventurers to combine their climbing hobby with fun in the cool water.
