Camping Miramar (Mont-roig)

We were here for one night and we really liked the place; everything was very clean and tidy, but unfortunately our ADAC camper card was not accepted.

Very nice and well-organized place. The front spots by the beach are highly recommended. Very good sanitary facilities (new and clean). Unfortunately, at the beginning of March, nothing was open: no supermarket, no restaurant, no massage, and no bread at the reception! (The latter could have been organized for the guests). A bike ride 1.7km towards Miami Platges leads to a great supermarket with a large bakery section. The ride is worth it every morning.

Well-maintained facility, parking spots with sea view (30 m beach) or 50 sqm level gravel spots with hedges, small trees. Sanitary facilities are top-notch, clean, everything well thought out, washing machines and dryers, beach for dogs is also ideal. After winter break until February 2, no dining and shop open, shopping available 2 km away in Miami Playa, very quiet at night.

Overall a nice quiet place. The sanitary facilities are very clean and quite new. Unfortunately, no restaurant is open in the off-season. The spots at the front by the beach are in demand. So better book in advance.

A campsite in a beautiful quiet location. Here you find everything that is important. Small shop for essentials, restaurant, beach bar, and an area with fast food and a bar, where in the evenings there are sometimes performances by musicians or film screenings. The site is very clean, and the sanitary facilities are clean and generously sized. There is plenty of space in the showers and toilet stalls. There is a washroom available, but it is completely adequate. We were there in July/August and it was always very clean and never overcrowded. There is a small playground for children. The site is very beautifully landscaped with palm trees and acacias. The beach is nice and large. The places in the front row are top. The campsite has many long-term campers in the middle area who are more present on weekends. We felt very comfortable there. The 10 amp electricity is not excessive, but it is sufficient. A few times the breaker tripped during the afternoon, but the site staff is always quick to respond. All the staff is always friendly and very helpful. The places are around 70-80 m², some a little larger. The main path is wide and the side paths are sufficient. We were there with our nearly 15m trailer. All in all, a great, well-kept site. The sea was mostly clean. In the water, there are some larger stones, and the sea drops off quite quickly into deeper water. The beach was never crowded. There is plenty of space to lie down and play. At night it is quiet and the staff conducts regular checks. Dogs are allowed and there are 2 clean and practical dog showers. Trash is collected centrally outside the campsite area (waste separation).

We were on the site for four days. The site is tidy and clean, and the front-row spots are amazing. There is everything you need. A restaurant and supermarket. The sanitary facilities are clean and freshly renovated. The washing areas are well-kept and tidy. Overall, a real recommendation.

I was received kindly, the spot was okay, and up to that point everything was fine. We explored everything on the first day and were thrilled with the campsite and its surroundings. The next day, however, was overshadowed by an unpleasant event, which ultimately led to us having to leave the place within 2 hours. Firstly, that was not in our interest, and secondly, it was poorly resolved by the manager, which is more than unfriendly to customers. It's strange that there is supposedly Wi-Fi throughout the entire site, yes, they have it, BUT they charge princely prices for it and there are two categories, 3 and 5 GHz, although one would actually have LTE reception throughout the entire site depending on the provider and is not dependent on Wi-Fi. Ultimately, they sell it as if it were a third-party provider that has no influence on reception, while I must say WHY one has to pay for it (by the way, it’s written nowhere) and if one still has no reception, then they must take the more expensive speed. More costs that actually should not be there. As soon as you leave the campsite, you COMICALLY have the opportunity to use your mobile data again and that in full capacity. It leaves a bad taste and the fact that we were thrown off the site due to the complaint at the reception raises more and more other thoughts!!!! We only wanted the 9 euros for three days of Wi-Fi (to have the worse one again) NOTHING else. But we were immediately asked to leave the campsite, and that is unacceptable! I thought long about assessing the whole situation, but I think everyone should know who wants to use Wi-Fi at the camping site Miramar. Unfortunately, it must be paid dearly for! Just don’t ask questions about why, what, and how, otherwise you will be looked at strangely and it will escalate. Good that we found another place on the way back, where we were allowed to use the Wi-Fi (by the way, the same THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER) for free, but it was not necessary at all since we have enough internet capacity ourselves. All very strange 🤨 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You won't find us there again! That’s no way to treat guests 😖! Incredible !!!
