Stayed for 3 nights at the campsite. Nice old tree stock. Large parking spot. Great! But the sanitary facilities are substandard. Not properly cleaned for years. No toilet paper and soap. Cold water while showering! We don't want to know what the sanitary facilities look like in the peak season.

Large campground, lots of greenery, many old trees. Plenty of play space for children. We were able to get a spot through security despite the closed reception. The sanitary facilities are really outdated and a bit unkempt. They do what they are supposed to, but without a feeling of comfort. No toilet paper, but soap available at the restrooms. No hooks or shelves in the restrooms. About 10 minutes on foot to the town center/beach. The beach area is very nice, some beach kiosks were still closed at the beginning of June.

As many campsites in May are still available or only rent mobile homes, I was pleased to have finally found a campsite that is open and where you can also pitch a tent. At reception, I received a sanitary bag and a discount on the price. One sanitary facility is open, there is a restaurant on-site, and a heated swimming pool. It takes only a few minutes to get to the center and the beach.

0815-Campsite in France with dirty and far too few sanitary facilities - sometimes even still pit toilets. The "hot water" in the showers is sometimes boiling hot and then again freezing cold. The washing-up water is merely lukewarm. Unfortunately during Corona times there was never soap available in the sanitary buildings. All sanitary buildings are very old and worn out! The highlight was a male cleaner who took his job not seriously at all and seemed stoned, not caring whether cabins are occupied - he still tipped a bucket of water under all the cabins, so that everyone gets wet feet! 🤦♂️ The pitches are partly shady, among others due to colored mulberries, partly sunny nonstop. The animation and evening program is entertaining. The pool area is large and suitable for all age groups. Still not recommended for the price (€50/night)!

The campsite is very well located with its proximity to the town center and the sea, and the distances are relatively short. In the town, there is a supermarket and a market hall to provide the essentials for daily life. Furthermore, the shop at the campsite is well stocked. It is definitely worth getting the baguette and croissants for breakfast from the baker in the market. The pitches are mostly shady, generously designed, and offer the opportunity to create some privacy. Mulberry trees have been planted as shade trees. They have beautiful large leaves but also intensely staining fruits that can leave blue marks on the floor. However, those can be cleaned up. The branches of the trees are partially kept low, which means there is a risk of scratching the roof windows of higher RVs. That happened to me. We were here at the end of August / beginning of September. During this time, the campsite was slowly emptying out. The operator then closes certain segments. Nonetheless, it remained rather peaceful and quiet. Barbecuing with charcoal is only allowed at the designated barbecue areas. The sanitary facilities are located in the individual segments of the campsite and are sometimes suitable for tough ones, sometimes quite acceptable, depending on their age and use. There is warm water available at times, but sometimes not; it’s variable and a matter of luck. You also have to bring your own toilet paper. Sometimes, a roll is stuck on the door handle. The restaurant is also quite okay and offers a comparatively good price-performance ratio.

Sanitary facilities not clean. Campsite is too expensive compared to others in the area, even in the off-season. Long distance to the beach. However, the pitch is beautiful.
