Camping du Lac Mimizan

You have direct access to Lake Aureilhan (Étang d'Aureilhan). Just across a road, you will find the lake shore with a large, public sunbathing lawn. If you prefer swimming in a pool, the campsite offers a heated outdoor pool, a paddling pool for the little ones, a whirlpool, and even a sauna to relax in.

The pitches range from 80 to 120 square metres and are set in spacious grounds with a beautiful mix of pines and deciduous trees. This gives you a nice balance of sun and shade. All pitches offer a 10-amp electricity connection.

Yes, a few things are good to know: the rental accommodations and facilities are located on a separate part of the campsite. Also, there is a paper factory between Mimizan and Mimizan-Plage. Depending on the wind direction, this can occasionally cause odour nuisances on the campsite.

Arriving by car with a caravan is straightforward. Since the ground under the pine trees can be sandy or have roots, you should pack sturdy pegs. If you are travelling without a car, a public transport stop is just 50 metres from the entrance.

For your breakfast, there is a practical bread roll service directly on-site. We also have a small grocery store on the grounds. A restaurant and a snack bar are just about 300 metres away, and larger supermarkets can be found in the town 2 kilometres away.

You certainly won't get bored here! The campsite offers a great sports programme, beach volleyball, bicycle rental, and children's animation. There is also a golf course just one kilometre away, and the beautiful Atlantic beach is about 6 kilometres away.
