Beautifully located and clean site. Very large, in the low season there is plenty of room with pitch selection. Direct beach access. Cafe and restaurant available, but with not too extensive a food selection. Further restaurants in nearby tavern with open kitchen, as well as at the neighboring campsite. Minimarket with bread pre-ordering. Sanitary facilities modern, absolutely clean, cleaned several times a day. Disposal option for gray water and chemical toilet available. Power at the site with 220 V Schuko sockets. All staff very friendly and helpful. Supermarket and gas station about 1.5 km away. Clean sandy beach, but no umbrellas and sunbeds. Overall, the site is recommended.

All sanitary and cooking areas will be renovated by early 2025. Therefore, everything is in great condition. Direct beach location, very quiet and relaxed in the off-season.

November 2022
I have known this place for about 40 years and have been here briefly several times. Last time from November 2022 to 2023 for more than 3 months with a motorhome (almost 10 m, 6.5 tons) and a side awning in winter. The reception is well-staffed with Kostas (owner) and Ereon, and both are always very friendly and helpful, even in late autumn, they are in a good mood. Ereon, the good spirit and man for all troubles, was always open to a pleasant contact, so we gladly stayed a bit longer this time. For Christmas and New Year's Eve, the dining room of the restaurant, including grill and open fireplace, was available for a privately organized gathering for about 20 people. Thank you very much on behalf of everyone. Unfortunately, the facility has been somewhat neglected over the past 20 years, but the new owner (only for 1 year), Kostas, is very committed to restoring and investing a lot, which cannot happen overnight and, of course, there are regulations and permits to consider and obtain in Greece. The supply for large motorhomes is currently still impractical but is part of the new construction planning, as are the sanitary facilities. For liners, it is often a bit more difficult to find a suitable large and especially high free space, but doable in the off-season. A small supermarket about 200 m across from the entrance towards Gythion is quite well-stocked (also for smaller camping spare parts) and has daily fresh bread, etc. You can easily order a taxi (e.g., ELIAS) by phone and go with several people to the farmer's market on Friday morning and afterwards, visiting the gastronomy is always worthwhile. But there is also a bike path along the beach to Mavrovouni and from there to Gythion, which can be managed by bike. If the restaurant should be closed seasonally, check out Takis' tavern (200 m) on the beach to the east. I cannot confirm reviews concerning dog-related problems and can only assure that we never had any at any time. But some people tend to make a mountain out of a molehill. In Greece, like in all Southern European countries, there are many free-roaming, generally very lovable poor creatures, and animal haters are out of place here. The owner is very fond of animals; the cats, for example, are fed daily aside, and the animals (dogs and cats) are sterilized at the owner's expense whenever possible. We would be happy to come back. Promised. Thank you very much for the many wonderful hours and experiences.

The place is nice, with many shady spots, directly by the sea. The sanitary facilities are somewhat aged, but clean. The staff, as well as the new operator (since 2021), are very friendly. Access to the beautiful sandy beach is also available. Children and pets are welcome. We will definitely spend a few nights here again.

Cat

The campsite is beautifully located, the staff is friendly, and during peak season everything is clean. Unfortunately, the cats often disappear under unclear circumstances, which is very unfortunate. Also, one should expect noise, as some guests behave very irresponsibly.

It is a typically Greek-run campsite. Advantages: Very nice, helpful staff, very beautiful location. Disadvantages: Unfortunately often loud in the high season until the morning hours + little hot water (showers) + too small surf area. Note: - Animation program ... I did not partake. - Tourist information ... I do not need and did not ask.
