Camping Lindaunis

Very beautiful and quietly situated site directly by the Schlei. Many permanent campers, but also nice pitches for tourist campers by the river. Very friendly staff, small shop with roll service. The restaurant on site is good and has an Italian influence. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily. Hot water in the shower costs extra (10 cents for 30 seconds). The principle is a bit cumbersome, but it works. The site is recommended. Attention: The bridge in Lindaunis is closed until mid-2025. Access via Kappeln or by ferry in Missunde.

Very nice and quiet place right by the Schlei. Sanitary facilities are clean. Shower costs extra. Unfortunately, they do not accept credit cards, only EC cards. In the restaurant, where you can eat very well, only cash payment is possible. This shows how far Germany is lagging behind in digitalization.

We are at this campsite for the third time in the off-season. The pitch is located directly on the Schlei, very quiet, staff extremely nice and always helpful, washroom clean, roll service in a small shop that also provides essentials, the site’s own restaurant offers freshly prepared meals at moderate prices. We can adjust to the set times for waste disposal.

We stayed there for 2 nights with the camper van. At the entrance, we were welcomed friendly and nicely, and the parking spot was good as well. However, when we looked around the sanitary area, it was no longer okay. Everything was a bit unclean! On the men's toilet, there was no soap dispenser and also no dryer or paper towels. The covered kitchen was also not particularly clean, and you didn't want to look at the ceiling – spider webs... I hope it improves because the location is nice. Then we would definitely come back.

The site is really nicely located between Schleistr.. and the Schlei bank. Mainly long-term campers, but also tourist pitches by the shore, a beautiful camping meadow. A small restaurant with reasonable prices and a sun terrace. The pitches for motorhomes are rather small, but still enough space for a table and chairs. Electricity and fresh water, sewage connection at the pitch, many opportunities for water sports (berths, slipway, canoe access, 2 swimming areas with sand). Showers and toilets are clean and only accessible with a chip, showers are time-dependent (start/stop), chip also for garbage and entry/exit. Overall a great site as a starting point for hiking and cycling. Unfortunately, the Schleibrücke bridge is still closed until summer 2023. But it is supposed to be opened at least for pedestrians/pushing cyclists.

The location is great. However, the freedom to camp looks different. Only children are allowed to use the bathing beach. Adults have to go about 100 meters further to the slipway.. The trash collection times are tight.. Showers cost extra (with coins) and the facilities are more like they were at home before, so something is always getting stuck and there’s only cold water or a weak stream. Tight, dark cabins. The Corona regulations are very strangely organized. There was a certain number of "keys" for the entire sanitary building, so you couldn’t go to the toilet when others were showering or in the wash cabins... The restaurant was closed for our entire stay (during the peak season) with long waiting times at the barrier and at the reception !!!!!

The location of the site directly by the water is beautiful. The holiday is marred by limited opportunities to shower - no shower facilities in the morning between 8:00 and 11:30 to ease the rush, I do not understand the logic here, as night rest is desired until 7:30 - as well as waste disposal until 10:00 or from 15:00 to 18:00. This takes away a lot of holiday quality, especially since this site is used a lot by tourists who are out during the day. It's a pity, it sounded very promising.

The approach to the site, located in a very beautiful area by the Schlei, can be reached without difficulties. However, there is no waiting area before the barrier. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Permanent campers are in the majority on the site. The tourist pitches are sloped, and access with longer combinations can become difficult during full occupancy. The facilities of the site are functional, and the atmosphere is rather bare. The two sanitary buildings have basic cleanliness, and they are cleaned once a day. The facilities are in need of renovation, particularly in the sanitary building on the site, and do not meet today's standards; deteriorating shower benches, wall heaters for a fee, etc. The number of showers/WCs is also insufficient at full occupancy. The advantages of the site are its location by the Schlei and as a starting point for sightseeing.
