If you want to treat yourself to a lot of comfort on holiday, the premium pitches are perfect for you. They offer you your own bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a small kitchenette directly on the pitch. This way, you enjoy maximum privacy and don't have to walk to the sanitary building at night.

The campsite is located directly on the banks of the Rhône and borders a small marina. To cool off, a great heated outdoor pool with a separate paddling pool for the little ones awaits you on the campsite. Perfect for doing a few relaxing laps after an excursion in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The flat meadow terrain is nicely divided by hedges and trees, so many pitches offer pleasant shade. An important tip: be sure to pack a long extension cable, as the power connections can sometimes be a bit further away. If you forget yours, the friendly team at reception will be happy to help you out. In addition, the premium pitches are closer to the road, which is why you might hear some traffic noise in the morning – for absolute peace and quiet, it is best to choose a pitch further back by the river.

Arriving at Camping L'Île de la Comtesse is super straightforward thanks to its location close to the highway, even with a larger car with a caravan. The terrain itself is completely flat, so you will hardly need ramps to level your vehicle. The ground consists of soft meadow, for which normal pegs are perfectly adequate.

The morning bread roll service with fresh croissants and baguettes ensures the perfect start to the day. There is also a cosy snack bar and a small grocery store on the campsite for daily needs. A larger supermarket is about 7 kilometres away. In the high season, delicious pizzas are also freshly prepared on selected days.

Boredom is guaranteed not to arise here! The campsite is a great destination for anglers and offers great opportunities for beach volleyball. Children can look forward to a colourful entertainment programme and the playground. If you want to explore the beautiful surroundings, you can rent a bike directly at the campsite and cycle along the Rhône.
