Spacious pitches, predominantly friendly and helpful staff, well-maintained and heated sanitary facilities available if needed (as of early September 2019, nighttime temperatures can be in single digits). The railway line along the site is not very disruptive. Approximately 500m to the beach. Those wishing to have breakfast after 9:00 AM can order bread and croissants at the reception the day before; otherwise, it's about 2 km to the nearest bakery. There is a bike path running along the site, making it convenient to reach the center of La Rochelle in about 30 minutes. Unlike what is stated in this camping guide, credit cards are accepted here.
