Flat area, densely covered with poplar trees and some other deciduous trees. Pitches divided by hedges. Located between the road, football field, and the Agay river.
In this area, the coastal road is accompanied by a railway line for long stretches. The sometimes very busy road and rail traffic can cause disturbances in peace and quiet.

We were looking for a campsite that had a good location. That's how I came across "Les Rives de l'Agay", although I read some bad reviews... We booked. The location won us over. We had a wonderful holiday. The pitches for tents & Co are of a good size and if they are by the river, it is very idyllic. The wash houses were cleaned 4 times a week. The owners and staff always had time for questions and everyone welcomed us warmly. I would love to go there for a holiday again and so would my husband.

We always love coming back to the campsite. The place offers more and more mobile homes - where we have also camped from time to time. In the off-season, the prices of the mobile homes are top-notch, while in the high season, like everywhere in southern France, they are very high. However, we usually go there with our bus. The tent/campsites are usually nicely covered with grass, quite generous in terms of space, and nicely separated from the neighbors by trees or tall hedges. The sanitary facilities are partly renovated, partly a bit dated, but generally quite clean. The atmosphere is very familial and friendly. The restaurant is great, and you can buy fresh baguettes and super delicious croissants every morning right at the campsite (reservation needed). The campsite is located by a small river that flows into the sea. With a rubber dinghy, you can paddle to the sea in 10 minutes. If you have a "real" boat, you can dock in the campsite's own "harbor". There is also a pool, but we prefer the sea. Our absolute favorite campsite!
