Camping de Montlouis-sur-Loire

The pitches are reasonably large and of good quality, but sometimes poorly laid out. The staff at the reception is very unfriendly, there is no Wi-Fi, the toilets do not have seats, there is no toilet paper, and the warm water is barely lukewarm. The campsite is difficult to reach. We were there for the third time, and this time it was far below standard. Therefore, we only stayed one night and will not return. It's a shame because it was much better in previous years.

Toilets without toilet seats. No shopping opportunities within walking distance for the morning bread. As a transit site, sufficient for 1 night.

Unfortunately, we could only spend one night here on our return trip to Germany. We really liked it, the staff was especially friendly and helpful. Clean and well-equipped sanitary facilities. We were there with two small dogs. Next time with bicycles. We will come back very soon. Thank you! S-Bahn connection about 500 m away. The swimming pool was still closed, located about 250 m away.

The restrooms were clean, but without toilet seats. Soap and toilet paper were available. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to get the shower water warm. The washing water was hot. The pitch was nicely large! A Loire cycling trail runs right past the site. A good starting point for castle tours.
