My husband and I rented a bungalow/mobile home which was cozy, in a great location with perfect amount of privacy. Well equipped. You are in walking distance toCadtenaud and Beynac, both accessible y a beautiful path along the river. The camping has access to the river. Appears to be family owned and the owners are super nice, relaxed and helpful and speak English😉🤗 Also there is a cozy bar. Pitch/rental accommodation: The location, the equipment and the big porch. Camping Magnanas is a small-scale campsite without frills, featuring good facilities on a beautiful green site with mature trees and access to a sandy and pebbly beach right by the Dordogne river, with a view of three castles. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Nice reception building with café services, terrace and food trucks. Bouncy castle, trampoline, sports fields, and lots of living space. Very spacious camping spots with shade. Laid-back atmosphere, peace and quiet. Plenty of nature.

The pebble beach by the Dordogne, the castles, the beautiful spacious spot we had at the edge with a nice view, the lovely old trees, it was all amazing. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: We found the lady at the reception extremely charming and she took good care of us. Furthermore, we realized in hindsight that it was a good idea not to have toilet paper in the toilets. This always avoids so much waste and mess. This way the toilets are kept tidy. The showers were wonderful too!

A wonderful campsite right on the banks of the Dordogne river managed by welcoming and very hardworking owners. Pitch/rental accommodation: The campsite was wonderful, all we needed for a fantastic stay on the river. The campsite bar/cafe was a welcome treat especially in the evenings to relax over a chilled glass of rose. Alex helped us out with electric cable extensions which was very much appreciated, very clear customer satisfaction is priority here which is wonderful to see. Showers and toilets were basic but fine for our needs and showers nice and warm. Location with private beach access to the river was second to none. We will be back!
