Camping Les Lacs de Maurienne

Not enough shaded, there are almost no trees and the hedges are not maintained. The adjacent public parking lot welcomes hikers all day and customers of the campground restaurant, resulting in a constant flow of people on the gravel all day long until late in the evening. We arrived Saturday evening, were able to eat late at the restaurant (nice), but a fight broke out between two drunken men, the owner's only reaction was to offer them a beer. There was also a scuffle between the campground owner and a former employee who was squatting with a caravan, Sunday morning at 6 am, we were subjected to death threats from both sides, a visit from the gendarmes in the evening, and infernal noise from scooters for 3 days. No gesture when we left, almost no apologies ("there's nothing we can do about it") and no commercial gesture. Moreover, cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

Permanent campsite with dog toilet flavor. Likely pays enough to get into the app. Recommendation: Continue driving or leave early.

This campsite is clearly structured. There are few trees. However, there is a swimming lake with direct access. Unfortunately, the highway can be heard a bit. Nice restaurant/bar.
