Camping Les Grottes

Right next door is the Prehisto-Park with its life-sized dinosaurs and the famous Caves of Réclère with their fascinating stalactites. This is a great adventure for children and adults! In addition, we have a horse stable directly on the campsite, so you can even go horseback riding in the nature of the Jura.

You can expect an idyllic, sloping and partly terraced meadow area framed by tall deciduous trees. For caravans and motorhomes, we have paved pitches so that you stand securely even in wet weather. The wooded surroundings ensure plenty of peace and a wonderfully natural atmosphere.

Since the meadow area is partly sloping and terraced, you should pack a few levelling blocks for your tent or caravan. The campsite is located at 654 metres above sea level in the countryside – so it cools down pleasantly at night even in summer, which is perfect for a restful sleep.

Since we currently do not have fixed rates for this campsite, it is best to enter your travel dates directly on PiNCAMP to check the latest prices. You should keep the following cost factors in mind when planning your holiday:

• Overnight prices for pitches or rentals (21 cosy rental accommodations without a private bathroom are available)
• Dogs are very welcome, a small fee may apply
• Electricity connection (sockets with 16 amps available)
• Visitor's tax depending on cantonal regulations

Arriving with a car and caravan is straightforward, as the paved pitches make manoeuvring easier. Since the campsite is located in a wooded, hilly region, good pegs for the meadow ground are advisable. If you are arriving without your own vehicle: a public transport stop is only 100 metres from the entrance.

You definitely won't go hungry! We have a cosy restaurant directly on the campsite for those days when you don't want to cook. In the morning, the bread roll service spoils you with fresh pastries. For a quick bite, there is a snack bar 100 metres away, and you can find a grocery store in Réclère, 2 km away.
