About
Camping LES GROSSES PIERRES on the Île d'Oléron near Saint-Georges-d'Oléron on the French Atlantic coast is a green oasis with palm trees and a true bathing paradise. It is around 1.5 kilometres from the comfortable rental accommodation (few pitches) to the long, wide beaches. One attraction is the huge bathing area on the site with indoor pool, whirlpool and cascades. There is even a beauty centre. Children can have fun on the large climbing ship or in the exciting entertainment programme. The adults can meet up in the fitness room and on the beach volleyball court. The mini golf course is always busy. A popular restaurant is just a few minutes' walk away. There are supermarkets in the Chéray district of Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, 3 km away.
