Camping Les Foulons (Tournon-sur-Rhône)

Pros

The site was beautiful and the nature surrounding it too. We chose this spot for a stopover with a pool to refresh ourselves. Unfortunately, my son and I were denied access to the pool because we were wearing board shorts instead of classic swim trunks. We found this very old-fashioned and overly strict. Nowadays, most people wear board shorts. Throughout our journey with several pools, we had no issues. This was frustrating and therefore a deduction for this beautiful spot. Campsite/Rental accommodation: The pitch was very nice, spacious, and well-located.

The owners should evolve and become more relaxed. They were very strict.

Pros

Very nice owner, super clean, new sanitary facilities. Situated by the shore. Lovely pool! Pitch/rental accommodation: grass pitch surrounded by small trees and/or hedges. Plenty of space.

A beautiful spot to stay for a few days. Pitch/Accommodation: Nice location, close to the Doux River. Enjoyed the river and the kids in the water. Lots of fish. Rocks, rapids. We were warmly received. The area is lovely.

Pros

We were there in high season and still the staff provided a lot of personal attention! The toilet building was cleaned frequently and looked very well maintained! The restaurant at the campsite is also very nice! And the swimming pool is beautiful with comfortable air mattresses. However, the pool is a bit cold, but it provides a lovely refreshment :)

Cons

We had exactly the only pitch at the campsite with very limited shade, which made it less comfortable, but almost all the other camping spots were well-shaded.

Pros

This is our second year here, and we continue to enjoy it just as much. Everyone finds their happiness. The pool, the river, the friendliness of the owners and staff, the excellent snack restaurant at very reasonable prices, the variety and quality of animations every day. A secure area for children. The greenery and the space for intimacy between each mobile home or chalet. Location/Rental accommodation: Comfort, calm, cleanliness, and respect for privacy.

Everything was perfect. A quiet, family-friendly campsite where you feel completely safe. The activities and atmosphere were fantastic. The welcome was very friendly, and the staff were very pleasant. I will gladly return. Location/Rental accommodation: Very clean, well equipped

👍 We love: - The beautiful setting, the tranquility, and the nature by the river. The variety of activities for children and the themed evenings each day with highly professional animators. The kindness and commitment of the owners Olivier and Soledad to make the stay successful. The safety and rules of the campsite for the respect of everyone. The new bar and snack restaurant are very reasonable with delicious pizzas, fries, and ravioli. Games for kids and teens (bouncy castle, trampoline, swing, ping pong, foosball, billiards, pétanque court) and the POOL 🏊‍♂️. Location/Rental accommodation: Clean. Everything works. Mobile home is quite recent. Well-equipped. And quite a bit of privacy with ample space between each mobile home. 👎 Why not improve the market with local producers and some activities?
