Very good campsite, welcome, services, and impeccable cleanliness Verified

Pros

The campsite is very well located for visiting the Gorges du Tarn. It is very clean, and the welcome and staff are friendly. It's quiet during the day and very calm after 10:30 PM. Location/Rental accommodation: Very good, but there is a lack of a pergola outside for eating outside when it rains.

Cons

Impossible to make acquaintances unless you speak Dutch.

Pros

At camping Les Bords du Tarn, we had a good stay with our tent. The pitches were (very) spacious and provided plenty of shade. We also liked the size of the campsite. The sanitary facilities were fine! A great pool to cool off in. The bread delivery service is ideal. Friendly staff! The campsite is well maintained and clean! Pitch/Accommodation: Good spacious pitches with plenty/sufficient shade

Cons

The children would have found it even more fun if there had been a (small) slide in the pool. What we found very unfortunate is that the walking path to the village along the river has disappeared (due to natural forces). 15 years ago, we were here as well, and back then, you could walk along the river from the campsite to Le Rozier.

Pros

We had a beautiful spacious spot right by the river. Ample space and shade. Neat toilets. Small-scale entertainment for the little ones.

Cons

Nothing to mention. I can imagine that teenagers (14+) might get bored more quickly. But we were with three children (7/10/11), so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Pros

We had a wonderful time at the campsite. It was very nice to cool off in the river. The owners and staff are friendly and approachable. The children also had a great time. Pitch/Accommodation: A very nice spot right by the river.

Cons

More shade / planting at spot 30. Pitch/Accommodation: At our spot (30), there was a lack of planting/trees, so we were in full sun in the afternoon. Additionally, our spot was relatively small compared to the spots next door.

Pros

Lovely clean campsite. The pitches are spacious and can offer plenty of sunshine or shade, depending on what is pleasant at that moment. The sanitary facilities are fine, and the dining options at the campsite are also very nice, featuring Leffe Blond, Hoegaarden, and Jupiler on tap! Very friendly owners and nice staff. They speak good English. In Le Rozier, there are enough restaurants, but definitely go to La Muze, which is 1 km down the same road as the campsite towards Le Rozier. Be sure to make a reservation; they speak good English, and one even speaks Dutch. Pitch/Accommodation: Great campsite!

Cons

Cushion on the terrace chair!

Pros

There is always a relaxed atmosphere at this campsite, the toilet facilities are clean, and the menu at the restaurant/terrace is small but nice. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Beautiful spacious spot with plenty of shade. However, the sandy ground makes it challenging to secure the tent properly.

Cons

The toilet bowls are very low, which can be uncomfortable for tall people, those with knee problems, and the elderly in general.
