The most expensive and disappointing camping experience ever
Close to 160 euros per night for a spot that our caravan barely fit into. The spots were all cramped together, the sanitary facilities were not particularly well-kept, and the site was super crowded. The slides and water park were decent, but that area was also too overcrowded. The staff was very ni… More

Unfortunately, the site has nothing to do with camping.
Since the place is paved with mobile homes, it has no charm at all. Only a few parking spaces between the huts. Dog poop was everywhere 😔 Trash had to be carried to the entrance. Only one toilet was open 😕

Very Poor Value for Money!
The campsite is huge, there are almost only mobile homes. Campsites without comfort! Even though we paid three times as much as usual at other campsites - about 750 euros for 1 week!! We thought we would get comfort since it’s rated 5 stars based on the site! NOT TRUE! English is hardly spoken, and … More

Mass Tourism and Rip-Off
We were totally disappointed. The place is huge, almost only mobile homes. Our spot was a strip, and the awning ended at the terrace of the neighboring mobile home. Unfortunately, there was also a group of young people living there who partied until 6 in the morning, and their cigarette smoke came i… More

Not suitable for caravans and motorhomes
Beautiful place if you rent a chalet, otherwise rather unsuitable... Only a few parking spaces available. Many of them completely unsuitable, as trees stand in the middle or parking space can only be accessed via another parking space, if no one is parked there. Toilets were often flooded. They were… More

Great Beach
Huge space with all comforts - still privacy. Unfortunately, the constantly growing number of mobile homes at the expense of good parking spots.

Very Expensive and Smell of Urine
Hygiene was a bit lacking, but family-friendly. At the beach, with a supermarket nearby, many activities for the little ones. Very expensive.

Inconsistent Value for Money
The site is very large - for the most part, it is now filled with permanent mobile homes. During the high season, you pay a hefty price of over 600 euros for a standard pitch for a week. At first, we were shown to a plot by an employee that was so sandy that we sank quite a bit with the mobile hom… More

The campsite is located near Messanges in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in the south-west of France. Biarritz airport is around 40 kilometres away. Families like to visit this comfortable resort because of the beautiful sandy beach and the attractive aqua park on site. There are three pools just for children, including a 180 m² paddling pool for the little ones as well as a pirate ship and a rocky landscape. A total of seven pools and three water slides are available. Adults will appreciate the spa area with whirlpool, sauna, steam bath and beauty parlour. Here, guests are pampered with regional beauty products. Several hundred sun loungers are available and the restaurant and snack bar cater for guests' physical well-being. There is a supermarket and a lounge on the premises. A total of 400 pitches are available for campers on the level site. All amenities such as emptying cassette toilets, supply and disposal for motorhomes, dishwashing and laundry sinks as well as washing machines and dryers are available. WLAN is available throughout the site. The beach volleyball court and the multi-purpose sports field are ideal for sporting activities. The professional children's entertainment programme and the mini club are also worth a mention. Top-class evening events round off the entertainment programme.
The campsite rents out bicycles for exploring the wooded coastal landscape of the region. The villages of Messanges, Vieux-Boucau les Bains and Moliets-et-Maa are close by. All of them have cosy cafés and traditional weekly markets. The constant waves of the Atlantic make the region particularly popular with surfers. This is why there are numerous surf schools in the coastal towns. Professional instructors teach beginners the basics of the sport in courses and refine the technique of advanced surfers.
