An absolute disappointment – more show than substance!

The location of this campsite is truly stunning, but unfortunately that was also the only positive thing about this place. The rest of the stay was a disaster. The sanitary facilities are an absolute disaster. Everywhere is swarming with flies – in the showers, on the toilets, in the washrooms. It is disgusting and simply unacceptable, especially considering that the number of toilets is more than inadequate. The new toilet block, which was renovated only six months ago, now looks like a case for renovation. The whole site appears neglected and run-down. To charge premium prices for this condition is a bad joke. Nothing here is right: cleanliness, service, and value for money are an absolute catastrophe. We will definitely not return to this campsite and cannot recommend it.

Too expensive for the service

Too few toilets. Lines, showers are used out of necessity as urinals and smell accordingly. In the high season with 80-120€ for the “service” (also for camping) overpriced. Even the beautiful nature does not save the price-quality ratio. You get significantly more at other sites. Not even Wi-Fi works (only a few meters around the reception has reception). The staff is very friendly. One of the few plus points besides the nature.

The place is super beautiful and the atmosphere is great. Uncomplicated and friendly. No animation, exactly what we like. Nicely located spots. Not too close together and in our area pleasantly quiet. Unfortunately, the mixed sanitary facilities are often in a disgusting condition. They are cleaned far too rarely and inadequately. In the morning and evening, toilet paper is missing everywhere. Mini cloths for everything. The brooms are cleaned where you wash. Soap for handwashing at the toilets would also be an upgrade.

Beautiful spot under pine trees

A beautifully located spot under tall pine trees, the pitches are mostly shaded and adequately sized. About a 10-minute walk to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sanitary facilities are quite simple but sufficient and cleaned daily. The washing area is not covered. In the shop, you can find everything for daily needs, restaurant okay, pizzeria loud and hectic.

Old school campsite near the sea with a wonderful huge beach. Close to nature, set up in a pine forest. Well-stocked shop, nice bar. Unfortunately, the restaurant was still closed at the end of June. Very robust sanitary facilities, but clean. With full occupancy, there are too few showers and toilets. Some flushing designs are not well thought out. As long as it doesn't rain, it's okay; otherwise.... It would be advisable to have significantly more water taps. The site is now operated by Sandaya. The website there presents photos that do not come from this site. Prices have been significantly increased. One can only hope that no rental objects will be set up, the described entertainment will remain limited, and that one will not have to wear a bracelet in the future.

Unfriendly Reception

Jürgen

August 2023

First reservation email sent. The response was: “there is no reservation needed for the first 2 weeks in September, you can just come”. When we arrived, nothing was available and with a trailer, it was out of the question anyway. When we finally were allowed to drive through with the site manager, there were at least 50 spots available and we received a spot from the friendly site manager. The staff at the counter, that is the owner, was extremely unfriendly. We will never come back.

Beautiful location, good offer - sanitary facilities inadequate and outdated

Pleasant6

June 2023

Large hilly space, pitches in the half shade under tall pines. Audience: predominantly campers and bus travelers, motorhomes - decoration is highly valued. In the parts of the site further back, mostly quiet/relaxed, the closer to the reception the livelier and more groups. Predominantly German guests, only a few French/Dutch. Supermarket, restaurant, bar, crêpe stand. Table tennis, beach volleyball court, boules. Many skateboards on the site. German-speaking surfing camp and school „Backwash“ on the campsite, French providers are along the beach next door. No sea view. Beach with supervised swimming area (waves!) accessible after crossing the road and high dune (wooden path). Conclusion: a beautifully located site, nice places nearby easily reached by bike. Relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful beach. Unfortunately, there is a clear need for renovation of the sanitary facilities - these are outdated and do not meet current standards by far, and the capacities are clearly insufficient so that, for example, washbasins near the toilets are also used for washing dishes. No cooking facilities and seating. Hardly any sockets available for charging phones/power banks.
