Spacious, partially terraced camping site on the land side of a dune, partly in a hilly, tall pine forest, partly with younger trees. Pitch areas mostly inclined, with about half bounded by hedges.
Three passages exclusively used by campers lead to the approximately 500 m long and 150 m wide sandy beach through the dune. Footpaths to the beach are secured with wooden footbridges. Beach size dependent on tides.
Separate parking for cars only applies to the area of rental accommodations.

Perfect location, nice campsite behind the dunes. Only downside: very poorly lit in the evening.

We were here in mid-September and had a really enjoyable time. The location of the site right behind the dunes is unbeatable – a short walk and you are at the beach. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus for us. The campsite is relatively large, but pleasantly quiet and not overcrowded outside the main season. In the high season, it could probably be significantly busier and livelier, but at the time of our visit, it was perfect. So anyone looking for relaxation and nature should consider the low season. All in all, a lovely spot to explore the coast and enjoy nature.

Family with 5 children is not possible, because Max 6 people per spot. Tip: Hide a child! Reason: Avoid overcrowding. Ok. But a family with 5 kids is something different than a group of teenagers with 7 people. Occupying 2 spots will be expensive if available at all. Family-friendly is different. There are very many rental properties, so no more camping character.

Very diligent in making everything perfect for the campers. The campsites cannot all be occupied due to deep sandy soil and are partially extremely uneven and poorly maintained. The tree stock is suitable to provide good cover against too much or hot sun. We would definitely return to the site in the pre-season and post-season with the ACSI card. We only gave 4 stars for the sanitary facilities. The pool is very pleasantly heated and no longer too crowded. The beach is beautiful, just a little further away.

Very good campsite. Great pool area. Nice staff. Clean sanitary facilities in sufficient number. Restaurants, brasserie, and well-stocked supermarket nearby. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We have been here with the caravan for almost two weeks now. The access to the very beautiful beach and the pool is very nice, but that's where the positives end. The sanitary facilities are very dirty at any time of day. Most of the pitches are all uneven and not very nicely laid out. All in all, the campsite does not deserve 4 stars, at most two. If you don't care much about a nice pitch and are not sensitive about the sanitary facilities, then this is the right place for you. I wonder how the ADAC comes to this rating. So in the future, don't rely on these ratings from the ADAC.

We (a couple) with a caravan were at the site in the first week of June 2023. The trees at the pitch provided sufficient shade. Unfortunately, these trees bore an abundance of black, berry-like juicy fruits that inevitably resulted in the carpet, the awning, and the vehicle being covered with dark spots. These trees are located all over the campsite. Unfortunately, we were there during the ripening season. However, this was a point that we were almost indifferent about. After the vacation, everything will be cleaned up again. However, we found the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities to be quite disturbing. They are only cleaned once a day, more or less thoroughly. The cleaning takes place during peak usage times from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. Then it's over until the next day. I do not want to know what the facilities look like during the peak season. There is also no soap in the restroom building. We have been to this site for the 2nd time. Once in 2022 during the corona times. At that time, at least disinfectants were available in the washrooms. For the environment and the site with all its facilities, I would already give 5 stars. However, I would only rate cleanliness with 2 stars. There is still a lot of room for improvement. If the cleaning staff were to clean several times a day, it would be perfectly reasonable to pay an extra euro for the pitch. Will I come here again? Probably not. Just a great, large beach is not enough. On our tour through Spain and France, we discovered sites that were much simpler and more original, yet had cleaner sanitary facilities.
