Camping Le Saint Martin

We visited here at the end of August/beginning of September 2026, four of us with two children. We camp multiple times a year in France, Italy, and Croatia, often at 5-star campsites. Sandy pitches and toilets without lids were expected from the reviews – that was no issue for us. However, the sanitary facilities were disappointing: multiple times there was only cold water for showers and flushing, the children's bathtub was always cold, and furthermore, the washrooms were old and often barely clean. We know much better from French 3-star campsites. The pool is new, well-maintained, well-supervised, and deserving of 5 stars. The 'playground,' on the other hand, is practically nonexistent for a family site. The direct beach access was closed, meaning it took us over 15 minutes to reach the beach from our pitch. Aside from the pool, we fail to see the 5-star standard. Overall, very disappointing – we will not return.

This is our second time here, always around the end of April. At that time, the site is still quite empty, but we can imagine how it looks during the high season. The sanitary facilities are fairly clean, but there is a lack of soap. This year, the path over the dune is closed, so you have to take the detour via the reception and the public beach access. It's not great with a surfboard.

Perfect location, nice campsite behind the dunes. Only downside: very poorly lit in the evening.

We were here in mid-September and had a really enjoyable time. The location of the site right behind the dunes is unbeatable – a short walk and you are at the beach. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus for us. The campsite is relatively large, but pleasantly quiet and not overcrowded outside the main season. In the high season, it could probably be significantly busier and livelier, but at the time of our visit, it was perfect. So anyone looking for relaxation and nature should consider the low season. All in all, a lovely spot to explore the coast and enjoy nature.

Family with 5 children is not possible, because Max 6 people per spot. Tip: Hide a child! Reason: Avoid overcrowding. Ok. But a family with 5 kids is something different than a group of teenagers with 7 people. Occupying 2 spots will be expensive if available at all. Family-friendly is different. There are very many rental properties, so no more camping character.

Very diligent in making everything perfect for the campers. The campsites cannot all be occupied due to deep sandy soil and are partially extremely uneven and poorly maintained. The tree stock is suitable to provide good cover against too much or hot sun. We would definitely return to the site in the pre-season and post-season with the ACSI card. We only gave 4 stars for the sanitary facilities. The pool is very pleasantly heated and no longer too crowded. The beach is beautiful, just a little further away.

Super nice facility, dog friendly, very helpful operators, ideal for relaxing, bathing, hiking, surfing. Would love to come again!

Very good campsite. Great pool area. Nice staff. Clean sanitary facilities in sufficient number. Restaurants, brasserie, and well-stocked supermarket nearby. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
